Another weekly post! :)

I'm posting again. Aren't you proud? Even though I'm not getting very many comments, things might happen where people come back to blogging, and then, when they come back, I'm actually have posted! :)
This week, nothing really significant happened. We did a full week of school, putting us past the 50 days mark. That means there's only 130 more to go. :)
This week, we'll be doing a lot of cleaning, and cooking, for my birthday party on next Sunday. 7 days until I'm 16. :)
Natalie is coming in 13 days, less than a week. I'm really excited to see her again, and of course, I'll be sure to post pictures on my blog, of when she's here. Her younger sister is coming to hang out with Gracie for the weekend, so I'm sure that it will be fun for both Gracie and I.
Tonight, I'm headed to my church for youth group. Our church just started having youth, so right now, it's only a once-a-month thing. But it's still a lot of fun, and I get to see my friends again! :)
I'll post again sometime next week.

Start of a new week.

Hey, I'm doing better! I haven't posted in a week, but that's better than two weeks, right? I feel like I need some routine, so that I actually post, and don't just spend my time, worrying about posting, since I don't have anything to post about. I'm going to try to make it routine that I post once a week, even if I don't have much to post about. If I seem to forget, leave me a comment, and tell me I'd better post! :)
My 16th birthday is in 13 days- I'm really excited about that. We're having a small party at my house, with family and some wonderful friends. I can't wait to see some people that I don't get to see that often.
Later on this month, Natalie is coming down to spend the weekend with me. Remember in June- how I went up to see her, and Sam- because Mom and I were going to the homeschool convention? Well, I was up there for her 16th birthday- and she'll be down here the weekend after mine. I'm so excited to see her again. Of course, I'll have plenty of pictures to post once she leaves! :)
This week, there isn't much going on at our house. Gracie is the only one who has anything to do, really. She takes both violin and piano lessons.
As for me, right now, I'm not taking any sort of lessons. For the month of October, I was taking some online guitar classes, but of course, now it's November, and they are no longer going on.
Anyway, I guess that's all I have for this week. I'll check in, and be sure to comment! I miss hearing from all my bloggin' buddies!

Whooeee..I can't believe that I did it again. It just doesn't seem like it's been 14 days since I've written on my blog. I meant to do a post every week, and keep myself at it, so that I actually have a post up, every now and then, and you all don't get bored with me!
Well, I guess that that didn't work out for me as well as I would've liked. I'm a horrible blogger!
I guess since I can't find anything 'cool' to post about- being that I'm not one of the coolest people in the world- I'll just post about my life.
I've been doing a ton of writing lately. I get on these schedules, where I'll write for a month, and not read at all. And then I'll read like a fiend for a month, and not write. I'm not sure what it is, but right now, I'm doing a ton of writing.
Kylie, Sam, Natalie and I have started an inspirational blog, over at blogspot. If you want to check it out- and leave us a comment, or keep reading the blog, that would be wonderful! :)
The blog is where we post things for teenage girls, to get them inspired, and to read about how great God's love is for us.

Something to think on....

It's been over a year, since I've decided to be unobsessed with the Jonas Brothers. That was a HUGE step in my life. No one really knows how bad my obsession was, and everyone's obsessions are a little different.
My friend, SeaChel, posted something that made me think, and I wanted to post about my obsession.
When I was first introduced to the Jonas Brothers, I didn't think they were anything too special. They were just guys who had good voices, and liked to sing. Big deal. I didn't even think they were cute.
It didn't take me long, before I decided that I was going to change my mind on them. Gracie, my younger sister, bought their self-titled CD, and soon, I began to love their music. That was it. Not their looks, just their music.
I was beginning to like them, more and more, and I was even beginning to make friends who also enjoyed listening to the Jonas Brothers, and thought they were cute.
I began to think that Nick was the most adorable guy in the world, and I didn't think about anything much, other than the Jonas Brothers. I began to hang posters on my walls, save pictures to my computer, and listen to their music, and only their music, ALL the time. I was obsessed.
At the time, I didn't think being obsessed was that bad. I told myself I had OJD (obsessive Jonas disorder), and there was nothing wrong with that.
And boy! Was I ever wrong. I was wronger than wrong. I was really just committing Idolatry. And that is wrong. I didn't think that I was doing anything wrong, because they weren't, like fake gods, but in my mind, they were the only thing I was thinking about. They were the first thing I thought about in the morning and the last thing I thought about at night.
My life revolved around the Jonas Brothers. And I put them in first place, before God. And that was wrong. I know, now, that it was one of the stupidest things that I've ever done, and I don't plan to put any celebrity before God anyone. Or anything before Him.
I could tell you how obsessed I was, like how I had over 600 pictures of them on my computer (taking up a lot of space), or how I had a lot of posters up (I still have one up), or how I looked them up on the internet all the time, to know new things about them. Or, how I could answer you any question about them (Not anymore.)
I haven't looked up the Jonas Brothers in a long time. I really haven't. I don't find it important to know everything about them, because I probably will never meet them. And I'm okay with that. I used to tell myself, someday I'll meet the Jonas Brothers. I've come to the reality that I'll probably never meet them. And, of course, I'm okay with that.
Like I said, it's been over a year since I've been unobsessed. And it's been a very good year! Let me just tell you, my life is better, that I put God ahead of everything else in my life.
I've been reading through the Bible in the year, and I'm really enjoying that. I'm in Hosea, and I should be in the New Testament by October. I can't wait to get to the New Testament- and I should be done with the Bible by December 26th. And I plan on doing it next year as well, because I'm enjoying reading through the Bible, and digging into God's word.
I'll post again soon~ but I thought that this was something very good to post about. I hadn't posted in a while, and at least this was something that I actually needed to write about.
Anyway- hopefully I'll have something to post about soon!

I met Mandy this last summer- and had an awesome time with her. I miss her, and her sister Sam, and Natalie, and Jennifer so much! Hopefully we'll be able to see each other soon!

Just got back from a short mini vacation to Lancaster, PA- home of the Amish. :P
I have a lot of pictures from our trip- we went on a lot of field trips- and took lots of pictures, so I'll be sure to post them soon.
Today, I'm going on another field trip- and I'll post those pictures with the others, later today, or tomorrow- whenever I get the chance to write on my blog again!
Well, just wanted to let you know that I'm still alive, even though I haven't posted in a while! :)
Oh, and be sure to check out Sam's template- I made the template, and my mom made the header! It's really awesome! If you would like one made too~ let me know! :)

New Template

I made myself a new template- because I was kind-of getting sick of the old oen that I had up!
I really like what I did with it- black and white are awesome together- and I really like my topper.

Oh my goodness, it's been so long since I've posted any entry. Again. I feel horrible. I haven't been doing a very good job on keeping up here. Sorry. I used to be so good about posting entries- and now, I never do it anymore.
I don't have much to post about- just a few things that I've been doing since the summer has started.
I've been babysitting for three boys, ages 7,8, and 9. It are really good boys- and they don't give me much trouble. It's not a everyday job, I just do it every now and then- when their mother needs me. I get paid, so that's good. :)
When July hits, we'll probably start up with school again- since we got done in April, and my sister and I are pretty bored, and have nothing to do. I seem to have some fun things to do this year, in tenth grade, so I can't wait to get started on them. I think that I'll have some fun with my stuff, but I know that it will be harder.
Well, I gotta go, it's after nine, and church is in the morning, but I thought that I'd fill you in on what's been going on around here- and the truth is- not much at all. 
I'll be posting an entry soon, with a slideshow of pictures from my New York trip~ that I'm working on, right now. I'm putting texts and stuff on them~ and some cool graphics!
