New pictures!

From my title- you can see that I have some new photos to post for you to see.

On Thursday, first of all- I got my ipod. YAY! It's an ipod nano, and it's orange!

Then we went to a 'zoo', that's not really a zoo, but has a lot of animals, with our friends, Suzy and Danette (and Gracie's friend, Leah).

Sam, Natalie, Mandy, Jennifer, and Kayla

As you all know, because I posted about it last week- I was meeting up with Samantha, Natalie, Mandy, Jennifer, and Kayla.

Well, I had about the best time ever. Thursday was the start of the homeschool convention- and I was so excited to get there, because I would be spending the night at Natalie's house, with Sam, Mandy, and Jennifer, oh, and Natalie.

The first person I met, was Natalie- and unlike I thought she would, she didn't have Sam along with her- so I met Natalie first, all by herself. Here is a picture of us, right after we'd met:

After about a half an hour, Sam and Kayla came together. Here is a picture of me and Kayla:

After a few hours at the convention- Sam and I went home with Natalie, to spend the night at her house.

That's when I got to meet Mandy, and Natalie's sister, Jennifer.

Haircut

Today- I got my haircut (hence why my title is what it is!) I have some pictures to show what it looks like- but first, I'll show a picture from before- it's definitely a change!

This look was very shaggy, and since my hair is VERY, VERY thick, it didn't do much for me! :P :P

Attic.

The last few days, the guys have been working on the ceiling, and a few other things. I thought that I'd post some pictures from Friday..they seemed to have gotten a lot done, and I thought that I should share the pictures with you all.
Hope that you enjoy them!

First off, here are some ceiling pictures..the ceiling is being covered with white ceiling tile:

OK~ those are the ceiling pictures. There are more, but as you can tell, they are kind-of boring, and nothing really to look at.

Well, they finished the electrical units- here are some pictures of those:

And my light switch at the top of the stairs:

Guess what? They finished my window seat yesterday! It's so exciting, and I can't wait to live up there, so that I can spend my time, sitting on that seat! Here are some pictures of that:

Isn't that so cool?! lol

Anyway..I'll be sure to post more pictures as soon as they start to do some more things with the room. They should be done sometime by the middle of the week (by Wednesday or Thursday), but we'll see.

More attic.....

I have more attic pictures to show everyone, here. I am sorry that I haven't posted any in a while, but they weren't here over the weekend, but they were here the last two days (and they're here today), so I thought that I would post a few more days of the 'construction'!

If you haven't seen any of the other pictures that I posted before, just scroll down to the next entry, and you'll be able to see them. That was days 1-4.
We don't have any pictures from day 5, because it was just a lot more insulation. So, it wasn't anything different.
But Day 6, was exciting (Day 6 was Monday, I believe), because they started putting up my walls. It's like wood panneling, but it's not yucky stuff~ it looks just like wood.anyway...let me stop talking, and start posting some pictures.
Anyway...DAY SIX:

OK~ that's all the pictures from Day Six. I love my walls...they are so neat. No, I'm not going to paint them, because I like them the color that they are. Though, they probably wouldn't be too difficult to paint.

Day Seven! Yesterday, they put up some more walls...and tour down a wall in the stairway up to my room. The stairway was always SO yucky, because once we had a leak in it, and so the wall rotted out. But they tore that down yesterday....and it's SO neat behind it. It turns out that the chimney is behind it...and some bricks. I'll post those pictures first..and then some more walls...

Attic....

Hello all!

A while back, I asked my mom if I could have a room in the attic of our house. She said she wasn't sure, at first, but to ask my dad, and see what he said. Right off, I thought, yeah right, he's going to say no right off. I was actually really surprised, when he said that he'd think about it. Well, it didn't take him very long, before he asked someone to come and look at the attic, and see how much it would cost us, to build a room up there.

Well, it was a good price, so Dad said that we could build a room in the attic for me. I was so excited.

Well, this week, they started working up there. I have pictures from the last four days, (not today, yet, but I'll be sure to post them later today) that they've been here. I hope that you enjoy them. They have made a lot of progress these days, but I'm not sure how long it will take them to finish. They estimated about 2 weeks.

Day 1:
First off, this is looking up the stairs:

I only have one picture from day 2, because it didn't seem like they did too much. Well, they studded out another wall that will be the wall to the storage area, in one part of the attic. It's pretty big up there, so we decided we'd make a storage area, to put some of our stuff, because we don't have room for it, any where else

Day 3, they seemed to have done a lot. This is the day, that they started on the insulation. They put in the insulation in the roof (part of it), and they started putting a window seat, in the window area. I asked for that right off the bat, and I was excited to get one! Here are some pics:

Hello

I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while- I've been running out of things to write about. My life is pretty boring in the winter- I hate to admit that- but it is. I'm ready for spring and summer to come along, so I can get out of this house that I'm cooped up in all winter all! Uggh!

Anyway, I'm just glad that spring is on it's way, only a few more weeks; and then it's officially here! YAY!

Anyway, nothing really is happening this week- but last weekend, I went over to my friend, Gabby's house- and we hung out for a while on Saturday. Here is a picture of us together:
