Nov. 26, 2008 - I'm sorry for breaking all the promises I wasn't around to keep..
To the people dumb enough to read my blog: I'm an emotional mess right now. Sorry. This is basically a sappy, dorky entry and the whole point of a blog is NOT to entertain other people...I mean, when you read the definition of "weblog" when the whole blog shebang started.
SO. Your options are. Read the entry..and resist the urge to laugh, remember, MY blog, MY life, you chose to read on anyway, I told you it was sappy. OR you can just exit now.

Today basically sucks.
Our AMAZING...Dog Dakota had to be put to sleep today.
But, He sure would look handsome next to Jesus with a halo over his head 
His nice golden coat, his eyes full of joy, and his willingness to please.
This dog has NO idea how much he's missed.
My sister just stopped crying, I'm still crying...

I remember when we got you, I remember walking into the big kennel they had you in and playing around with your brothers and sisters.
I remember picking up your sister, a cute little fluffy black puppy and saying "I want her!" I remember Mom and Dad saying that they already picked you out..
I remember Mom telling us that your Mommy got hit by a car..
I remember the ride home, holding you in my arms practically the whole time! I remember telling mom and dad that we should name you Butter[sorry about that!], thank heaven they said no.
I remember the house we used to live in, your first home, I remember how you were such a tiny little puppy and your eyes seemed to bug out of your head, I remember how you used to LAUNCH yourself off the dock at the lake, and you would play fetch until everyone's arms hurt...
I remember sneaking you into my bed after everyone else was a sleep.
I remember last summer when Daddy played fetch with you so long you fell over and we thought he killed you..
I can't remember life without you, Dakota, you have NO idea how much I miss you right now.. You were the best dog in the whole wide world, and I'm glad we didn't get your sister, and I'm glad you have the name you have.
Your last few week's were painful for you...
and you tried so hard to make us happy..and you did! I wish we could have done something different, so that you didn't have to suffer and you could still be with us..

Nov. 25, 2008 - A Million Fights Couldn't Make Me Hate You...
I love Secondhand Serenade.

which means I should be back at swimteam next week *crosses fingers*
I have a cold right now.
Third one in about 5 weeks.
EW.
The bad thing about not having mono is I have to do the round robin for speech class, and I signed up for Individual Apologetics, where your given a question by the judges, you have 3 minutes to write a speech [up to seven minutes long] and then you have to give the speech.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
And it's not like I can just play sick for one day! Cause I have swimteam practice and then a swim meet on Saturday, and my grandparents are coming from out of state and they'll want to watch me.
GAH! this is going to stink.
I wonder if I could e-mail my speech teacher and tell her that I'm a chicken and am to afraid to do IA....yeah...maybe I'll try that.

Nov. 21, 2008 - Mommy You Let Them Poke Me!
that title.
is something I actually said O.O
I'm being tested for mono.
Which means....*drum roll* BLOOD TESTS!
oh yay.
Have I mentioned that I HATE needles? And blood? [Yet I think it'd be awesome to be a tattoo artist O.O]
So yesterday, the stabbed me in the arms, one time each.
nasty. They couldn't get any blood to come out.
So I'm freaking out. IN PAIN. As they move the needle around in my precious, fragile forearm. CRYING [yes, I am a big wimpy baby and I cried. Not alot, but I still cried] thinking "OH MY GOSH?! no blood is coming out? are you serious? OWWW, GAH! hurry?"
I got excited, I thought I was amazing and like..bloodless or something.
but I'm not =/
darn.
that sure would be a story for the grandkids though wouldn't it?!!?
So they couldn't get any blood so I had to get up early and go in this morning...after drinking a bunch of fluids last night.
they didn't get any the first time [YES!!! They poked me more then once!] and it hurt! The nurse lady took the needle out [she wasn't as nice as the first lady though, but she wasn't mean or anything]
and then they did the second time.
I didn't even get a cool band-aids, a sticker, a pencil or anything!
how UNcool.
So yes. Stabbed 4 times. In 2 days. 3 times in one arm 1 in the other.
I got awesome tattoo band-aids on right now though :D
omg. Crush by David Archuleta is ADORABLE!

OOH! The nurse asked me yesterday if I had been craving anything lately and I'm like "Mountain dew" and she's like "is that new or on going" and I said... "on going"
BUT SHE STILL WROTE IT DOWN!

Oh and they had to ask me "Are you a tobacco user" and I lost it.
I had my head in my hands, I was laughing so hard! I'm like "No, I'm not" and she's like "I kinda thought you'd say that, but we have to ask anyone over 10"

I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TOBACCO WAS WHEN I WAS TEN.

Nov. 17, 2008 - Okay, so like, there was a star.
I officially win the worst blogger award.

Hah. "so there was like, this star, and it was like really bright, and you could like see it from my bedroom window in my old house" My friends crack me up.
My muscles HURT... /still/ I swam 160 laps(2.5 miles) on Saturday, along with practice on Monday and Tuesday, Today is my first offcial day off. Thursday..erm..tomorrow o.O I have speech and debate as well as volunteering. And then practice on Friday and a meet on Saturday [and it's like an hour away..which means I have to get up in the morning.... e w w w]
I've been doing good in school! h a h.
I manage to somehow get no more then 3 problems wrong in a single math lesson! *claps* cheyeahh.
I think it's because I've been putting headphone's in and tuning out everything else, and I get in my like, ZONE.[kachow] and I can focus.
Yep. It's most definitely the music ;]

Nov. 7, 2008 - If you wanna wake up you have to go to sleep. That doesn't make sense.
*sigh* Obama won. This is going to stink. BUT! On the bright side. In the 2012 election I will be able to vote :D Soooo, I went to the A.M swim team practice on Wed. 5:30-6:30.. And I am not a morning person! I was up (4:40ish) and had already swam over a mile before the sun even came up! EW. But practice was good, we didn't do any drills or anything so, my strokes won't improve if I keep going, and I won't see my friends :( I did have a couple of friends that went to the morning practice. Wait, practically all of them were my friends! Bunny, Bunny's Sister, Muscles (NO! Those aren't their actual names ;) Those are their nicknames :D) and then this dude named Ethan. Who always seems to be glaring at me O.O...or maybe he's just unhappy. ANYWAY! So, Bunny (Who is a guy..lol) and his sister were talking about how Obama won, and Bunny's Sister is like "This is bad! He's going to raise taxes" and Bunny, being the crazy funny person he is says "It's okay, America sucks, we've lost all common sense" I lost it. I laughed so hard. I thought that was funny! And then Muscles and I walked into the pool at the same time he's like "Don't look so tired!" and I just screamed "SHUT UP!" So he picked on me all during practice. And then I asked him if he was on drugs. I didn't know people could have that much energy in the morning! It takes me about 15 minutes to open my eyes and another 20 minutes to get out of bed.... We have a swim meet on Saturday. And then swim-a-thon Next Saturday. Which will be fun, cause thats where you swim 200 laps. Why? So you can get your name on an [ugly] plaque on the wall...in nice tiny letters. Sounds fun! SIGN ME UP :D And then on Nov. 22 we have another meet. In the spring we start qualifying for zones, nationals and such. CHRISTMASSS! In 48 Days :DDD I can't wait! I already got my present, but...still! Last night (Thursday) We had possibly our last speech class :( So we were working on individual apologetics, We had to answer the question "What is truth?" We had 30 minutes to prepare, which is alot, cause normally you only get 3 minutes. SO, we didn't have very good resources, but, we managed. Anyway, I was just writing down what I thought and I went all logical and stuff. And our "boss" Audrey was like "Oh, that's good! Tear that out we'll use that as our second point" So basically I wrote down "We don't have a solid definition of truth, We have God, and we know God is the truth, but most people view him as a lie, We will never have something so solid and sure that it will be nationally accepted as truth. Truth is defined by a person's words, their life and their morals." So we had the most prepared speech, everyone just gave outlines and our speech teacher was like "Thats beautiful" I was so so proud of our team :D AND! I can play Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade on my guitar, I can sing it too. I should get a video.. but...who knows. Have an awesome weekend. `kayla katastrophe. p.s. I had three tests. In one day this week, I got a C+(+) (My mom said C+ I'm like C++ lol) and then two other C's, so all in all, I could do better, but I was proud, cause I didn't study. I like.. never study :P

Oct. 23, 2008 - Stop Staring. Your creeping me out.
So. I have a baby sister. She's beautiful :] And I swear somehow she got her good looks from me(Hah! She's way more beautiful-er then me), I'm just trying to figure out how...but I'm going to stop. I have my first swim meet of the season on Saturday. GULP. Thank Heaven for music. I think that's the only thing that's keeping me from freaking out. That and the good ol' comforting bag of Cheese Puffs, which just so happen to stain my fingers orange -.- So I had to give a persuasive speech yesterday. YIKES!, or even cooler. YIKEZZZ. My topic was recycling.....I picked it (What was I thinking!) I pretty much bombed (For my mother who is reading this, that means I did bad ;)But, it's really hard to persuade teenager's to listen to music. How would it go? Me: LISTEN TO MUSIC Class: FINE WE WILL. That could be a good thing though ;] Course I would walk out thinking "DANG I'M PERSUASIVE" and find everyone whipping out their iPods.....the ones they were listening to /before/ my speech. I got a tag. I'll do it when I'm good and ready. So I thought I'd post the songs I've been listening to lately! My top 15 songs : (AHEM) NOTE: 15 is such a....a...a....small number. How does 17 work for you? So these are my top 17 songs of the moment. The Third Day ones are AMAZING you have to listen because Lacey Mosley sings in them xD YAYYY CLICK TO LISTEN!Joy Joy Joy :) I'm sitting in my chair dancing. O.O Good thing you can't see. Oh, and I've decided that I can't head bang to soft, acoustic music (I.E. Amy MacDonald and Joshua Radin who are on my playlist ;) And headbanging hurts after awhile. ANYWAY. I was up early enough this morning to see the sunrise! Trust me, not by choice. I had to babysit. My brother is snuggly in the morning But here is the picture!

It's really good! Not as much screaming though. But my parent appreciate that. I feel kinda jipped though. Only eleven songs, of course their other cd I have was Diamond Edition so who knows. Swim team has been going really well! I'm doing better than I thought I would. I haven't really made any "new" friends, I did, but I don't think she's coming back :( But I've gotten to know some people alot better! And there are 2 girls in my swim lane that have been homeschooled before, which is awesome. But....the girl in the lane next to me calls me Rachel O.o she says I look like Rachel McAdam's.....which...is...insane! Oh well though, and the guy next to me like's The Devil Wears Prada (Christian Band) he had their shirt, they've got awesome shirts...he's going to see them in concert...I wanna go! Doubt it. But still :P So we talked about music. I think I scared him O.O I'm not the type of girl who people think of as one who likes screamo music...Hollister,Swim team, Graphic Design and Screamo music?! FREAK?! Haha. I love it :D oh and cars :P.
Oh....aand I swim over a mile per day at swim team O.O
