Nov. 7, 2008 - If you wanna wake up you have to go to sleep. That doesn't make sense.
*sigh* Obama won. This is going to stink. BUT! On the bright side. In the 2012 election I will be able to vote :D Soooo, I went to the A.M swim team practice on Wed. 5:30-6:30.. And I am not a morning person! I was up (4:40ish) and had already swam over a mile before the sun even came up! EW. But practice was good, we didn't do any drills or anything so, my strokes won't improve if I keep going, and I won't see my friends :( I did have a couple of friends that went to the morning practice. Wait, practically all of them were my friends! Bunny, Bunny's Sister, Muscles (NO! Those aren't their actual names ;) Those are their nicknames :D) and then this dude named Ethan. Who always seems to be glaring at me O.O...or maybe he's just unhappy. ANYWAY! So, Bunny (Who is a guy..lol) and his sister were talking about how Obama won, and Bunny's Sister is like "This is bad! He's going to raise taxes" and Bunny, being the crazy funny person he is says "It's okay, America sucks, we've lost all common sense" I lost it. I laughed so hard. I thought that was funny! And then Muscles and I walked into the pool at the same time he's like "Don't look so tired!" and I just screamed "SHUT UP!" So he picked on me all during practice. And then I asked him if he was on drugs. I didn't know people could have that much energy in the morning! It takes me about 15 minutes to open my eyes and another 20 minutes to get out of bed.... We have a swim meet on Saturday. And then swim-a-thon Next Saturday. Which will be fun, cause thats where you swim 200 laps. Why? So you can get your name on an [ugly] plaque on the wall...in nice tiny letters. Sounds fun! SIGN ME UP :D And then on Nov. 22 we have another meet. In the spring we start qualifying for zones, nationals and such. CHRISTMASSS! In 48 Days :DDD I can't wait! I already got my present, but...still! Last night (Thursday) We had possibly our last speech class :( So we were working on individual apologetics, We had to answer the question "What is truth?" We had 30 minutes to prepare, which is alot, cause normally you only get 3 minutes. SO, we didn't have very good resources, but, we managed. Anyway, I was just writing down what I thought and I went all logical and stuff. And our "boss" Audrey was like "Oh, that's good! Tear that out we'll use that as our second point" So basically I wrote down "We don't have a solid definition of truth, We have God, and we know God is the truth, but most people view him as a lie, We will never have something so solid and sure that it will be nationally accepted as truth. Truth is defined by a person's words, their life and their morals." So we had the most prepared speech, everyone just gave outlines and our speech teacher was like "Thats beautiful" I was so so proud of our team :D AND! I can play Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade on my guitar, I can sing it too. I should get a video.. but...who knows. Have an awesome weekend. `kayla katastrophe. p.s. I had three tests. In one day this week, I got a C+(+) (My mom said C+ I'm like C++ lol) and then two other C's, so all in all, I could do better, but I was proud, cause I didn't study. I like.. never study :P
