A Tomato Hornworm

One day, in the late afternoon, as the summer sun blazed down on the world I walked past our bell pepper plant. As I stopped and bent down to get a closer look, I saw a little tomato hornworm eating at the leaves. I gently picked it up and ran to the house to show my Mom, who was on the computer and then took a lot of pictures of it. Here are two of the nicest ones.

Well, my little namesake! It is so wonderful to hear of someone with my same name! Hooray! When I was growing up nobody and I mean NOBODY had this name. I actually hated it for a while and wanted a more common name like, Heather or Jennifer. I'm so glad my mother ignored me! :) Today, I am no longer "weird" but am finding many others with this name, even if you all are 20 or 30 years younger than myself!

I love your name! I love your photography and your artwork. I am not an artist, sigh, but I appreciate it in others. Good for you! Keep it up, you have a wonderful eye! I hope to have time to read some of your posts and look around some more at your blog. I am new here and just finding my way around.
