Ft. Pulaski

Posted in Homeschooling

We went to Ft. Pulaski today to take part in the NPS Jr. Ranger Program. We met another family there so we could do it together. WOW! The boys were a little overwhelmed with the writing they had to do but then they do not like to write at all. But they did most of it themselves and the few times I wrote for them they dictated what I wrote. It took about 2 hours for us to do the self-guided tour and then we had a little picnic lunch afterwards. It was a lot of fun and the boys are looking forward to collecting Jr. Ranger pins from other places.
