The other night I went to one of my friend's going away party. It was

really sad. He joined the Army and I really hate to see him go. I'll miss

him a lot. So if ya'll could keep him in your prayers that would be

All week this week my best friend and I have been babysitting.....

annoying screaming little children... Four Words: Thank God it's Friday!!

Normally, I can handle that, but it's the same kid everyday!! Anyway,

so last night we decided that we were going to cover these boxes with

craft paper and decorate them to make "memory" boxes. Fill them with

past gifts & memories, good & bad... kinda corny, but I'll look back and

be thankful that I did it... Well, gotta go, back to babysitting!!! FUN!

I know it's April Fool's Day, but I have no jokes, and luckily no one

has told me an April Fool's joke yet. I usually fall for them. Last year

my mom told us that my grandma won the lottery. Little did I realize

that it was April Fool's day, so I fell for it. Yep, pathetic, I know... I

realized what day it was five minutes later when I heard my mom

laughing hysterically in the other room. I'm not in the mood for jokes

anyway. I didn't have a very good day yesterday. I'm slowly coming

to the [obivous] realization that God is in control of my situation and

that He will work everything out for the better. I need His strength and

patience, direction and guidance right now.

Okay, last week, I had this really good post, but just as I was

getting ready to add the entry, my computer kicked me off of

the internet! It made me soooo mad!!! Now, I can't even remember

what it was about! grrr! Anyway, I have a really neat story. There's a

girl in our youth group who has tried to commit suicide and has done

horrible things to herself. She's just looking for a way out of the mess

she's in. Before all of this came out into the open, all she did was goof

off in class. She wouldn't let anyone see what was really going on

'behind closed doors.' Although, within the last few weeks, she's slowly

coming to the realization that maybe, just maybe, God might be the

answer that she's looking for. She still needs lots of prayer because she

has not fully surrendered her life to the Lord. So if ya'll would pray for

her it would be greatly appreciated! Sorry the grammar in this is bad,

but I'm sorta in a hurry. This site needs spellcheck, or maybe I need

to be smart enough to find it. Lol!

I am "internet-illiterate," so I know nothing and the result of that:

BORING blog..... ugh....

I also never know what to write... so most of the time I just ramble

on and on, like right now....

I think my problem is I want to sound witty and funny and neat, but

my brain doesn't work fast enough to come up with anything. Or

maybe, I just try too hard... idk... My life isn't neat or interesting...

unless you like some slim-form of drama.

My family: pretty boring... struggle with weight problems... I'm the

only one in the "healthy-weight" range and even I have issues with

my weight...

normalish friend who I would love to be like her... She's quiet and kind

and she loves the Lord with all her heart... I'm too outspoken to be

like that... I mean, I'm kind and I love the Lord... I guess I shouldn't

My cousin had her baby yesterday!!! It's a little-little girl!! She only

 weighed 4lbs and 11oz!! Her name is Abagail!!! I'm excited!

Here I will take time to reflect on the strangest year of my life.

It started on January 14th, my dad suddenly was struck with acute

pancreititus [or however you spell that!] He almost died, worst two

weeks of my life. Ugh...

Fell in love. Don't laugh at me, I am so NOT kidding! Sweet, innocent

love. No dating. [a strict rule] But, all was well with the world. I totally

let the thoughts of him push God to my number two priority. Bad place

 to be, I know.

So much conviction and him falling in love with my "best" friend was,

let's just say, "wonderful!" Ever been convicted? NOT a good feeling!

I went to camp with my bestest friend in the whole wide world! We

went to Crossfire youth camp! Totally amazing! Counting down the

days until the 2008 camp starts! It is worth the 13 1/2 hour drive!

We met really nice people! Although, it's tough, because we only

communicate by e-mail!

My father finally broke-down and let us get the internet!! Yipee!

I started my second year of home-schooling. After Thanksgiving break

I got lazy and slacked off. I am now paying greatly! Ugh... I must

now do some schoolwork over my Christmas vacation! I could kick

myself!!!

Oh, and I got my hair permed in like June! That was a tough decision!

I was scared I would have "poodle-hair!" It turned out much better

than expected. Although, I will never tell my Melanie [hairdresser] that

I lacked faith in her that day.

This year, we were too lazy to get out Christmas decorations. [boo me

all you want!] Although, in my gramma's half of the house, she

decorated. We had Christmas there! lol

One strange year that will forever be embedded in my mind!

All the ups and downs of being a teenager!

Rocky relationships that are like walking on broken glass, watching

friends from public school be ruined their freshman year. Ugh...

I pray God will help me be a light for Him!

Sorry I haven't written for a while...

My family has been out of state. We went to the Thanksgiving

Campmeeting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! It's a horribly long drive...

13 1/2 hours with my parents and sister in our suburban! Terribly

boring! Thank goodness for the dvd player or else I don't think I would

have made it!! lol

But it was totally worth it!

Besides all that, my great aunt had to be life-flighted, get a pace-

maker and a difibrilater and then come home, all within one week!!!

Plus, one of my really close friends has been really sick for two months

and they just figured out what the problem was!!! Geez!!!

It's been crazy!

On the bright side, I'm totally happy to be home with my friends and

kitties again!!!

Today was pretty boring, I cleaned my room for like 4 hours and I still

have some stuff to go through! I hate when it gets all cluttered or

when I have let clothes pile up!!! I need my room spotless or else I

go CRAZY!!!

It was so crazy, tonight I almost got hit by a car.  

This lady was sitting there like she was going to let me cross

the street, and then as soon as I start to cross, she comes flying,

backing out of her parking space!!!

Thank God I wasn't walking slower or else she would have gotten me!!!
