Wait!! You're going the wrong way!!
| This evening we were outside playing with the kids at dusk. As usual in YC there were tons of birds flying around out neighborhood squaking and diving. For those who don't live here it is seriously straight out of Alfred Hitchcock. My parents were here and my dad was pointing out to Sophia a huge formation of geese flying overhead. They were followed by another, and another, then another. They just kept coming. HUGE 'V''s! There had to have been literally a thousand geese that we saw in that 6-7 minute period. It was amazing to see! They were flying very, VERY high. But, most interesting of all was...they were flying northeast!! Aren't they supposed to be flying south? We were making jokes, like they were going to Reno or they forgot their passports and stuff. Then it occured to us...maybe it has something to do wth the fires in So Cal? Maybe they were headed South and had to come back up and go another way? I have no idea and may never know. But it was very interesting! |
