Touchdown With the Cramps/ 7 to 41

Last night was the first football game of the season, and lets just say it was a game!

"I think we should wear heels! Oh, and yellow, do you have any blue?" I was talking to my best friend on the phone.

"Girl! I don't have anything blue or yellow! But yea,I like the idea of heels! Lets do it!"

"Ok so what time are ya'll going to get here? I need to go put make up on, hahahaha (laughing very hard!)!"

"I don't know, 6:30? Does that work? Yea I have to do my make up too. (lauging very hard as well!)"

"Ok, babe (we call each other babe) I'll see you then. Bye."

 "ok, bye"

The laughing continues.....more laughing.....and yet more laughing.

At 15 'til six Amy calls again....

 "Hey, what's up?

 "Nothing much. You?"
"I was thinking.....maybe since this is the rivalry game we shouldn't wear heels? You know, what if we end up parking a mile away? Can we reall make it in heels?"

(Take not of the parking a mile away!)

"Ummmmm, maybe. Yea, I guess. But I am still going to take them! So what kind of shoes should we waer? Flip flops sound good to me, what do you think?"

"Yea, flip flops, lets do it!"

30 minutes later Amy and her mom arrived at my house, my mom and I jumped in the car. As we were driving up to the school...guess what?

Yep! people were already parking a mile away to find a place to park! After we parked and walked a mile to the football field, we found the perfect place to sit (after, of course, climbing over houndreds of people!).

The game was starting....the first half was great! At the end of it the score was 0 to 22. (For those of you who love f/b, I am sorry for not saying much about what was happening on the field, I don't know anything about the beautiful game.)

Now the second half wasn't so great for either team. During half time the player's mescules got cold. So when the game started back there was a lot of pain out there.

They lined up,and whatever it's called when one dude gives the ball to the dude standing behind him and throws it, ok well after the guy threw the ball...some guy just fell over! He was on the other team. But when he fell no one thought about that, the boy was in pain! Cramps are the worst kind of pain! Once he was off the field it wasn't long before one of our boys was down. On both teams, one after the other, the palyers were just falling down!

Over half the players on both teams had lost their legs by the threid quoter. We were at the very end of the field with 5 minutes left in the quoter, they did their thing and number 22 (on our team) had the ball and took off running! He ran so fast, no one could touch him! He was an unstopable, speeding bullet! Touchdown! He ran across the whole field!!

**The crowd going wild!!!**The score now 0 to 34.

Number 22 was standing for another 30 minutes before he lost his legs. With almost all of the best players down on both teams, nobody was sitting down!

Towards the end of the game two of our guys were down and they weren't even on the field. Number 2 had a cramp in his back but he was back up in about 5 minutes. Number six, on the other hand, was not so lucky. He had a cramp in his left leg, just by looking at him you could tell the cramp was going up his leg and then BANG! The right leg! He fell to the ground! Tears streaming down his face, three of his team mates trying to help him. That look in his eyes, the cramp was getting worse! Someone finally got to him and helped him.

At the end of the game he  couldn't even stand but he somehow found the strength to make it up and shooke the hand of everyone on the other team with the rest of his team mates. Once he was through the line he fell again. No one thought he was ever going to make it off the field. Two team mates held him up as he walked off the field. So please, right now, take a minute and pray for number 6. Thank you.

We won  7 to 41! One thing's for sure, When I do become a writer, I should not write about sports! lol...ttul peoples.

:)katcy**!
