Pumpkin Patch
Well, being in FL we don't have a wide variety of "Pumpkin Patches" to go to. We found a cute one at a local church. Not exactly what those up north would call a Pumpkin Patch, as these pumpkins were just all laid out in nice neat rows on crates.
It was fun none-the-less and the boys found some good pumpkins. We also found out about a Harvest festival being held at that church next weekend, so we may be attending that as well.
Here's a picture of my little guys on the hay throne:

Thursday we're having a Carving Party here with our other homeschooling friends, so that should be interesting, to say the least.

Hi! You are right. Florida does not exactly have an abundance of pumpkin patches. Especially since it is so hot and humid that you only get to enjoy your carved pumkin one day because by the next it's rotting from the heat and being eaten by bugs. Last year my kids and I started a new tradition of painting the outside of the pumpkins. They each had their own pumkin and paintbrush and they could be creative without my help! They had a blast. We'll do it again this weekend. We live near Tampa. Is fall ever coming? Enjoy your new homeschooling journey, this is our first year, too.
