Manuel Feb 23rd
Today is the day! well.... not THE DAY... but today we are all going down to the Shriner's Hopsital and taking Manuel to a Restaurant. (Don Pablos). Then maybe to the mall or out for ice-cream..... He will get to leave his hospital room in the first time in a month. (and before he washere he was in a hospital in Honduras for a month). My boys are so excited! I need to run by Goodwill and look for pants that snap up the sides for him.
Manuel didn't bring shoes from Honduras, so I found a pair of my boys that should fit him. And I have a sweater and a coat for him, too. It's only 20 degrees so far.
My boys are making breakfast while I am here onMySpace... but they already had their morning computer time.
We'll be leaving at 10:30 to go down thre and wil stay to work on learning his cleaning care and therapy. Maybe we will get to try it on own today. We have to do it twice all on our own before hecomes home with us.
So we'll be home around 7-8 I guess.
So I won't be here much. Esp if I leave at 9 to run by Goodwill. |
