I am doing word shadows with the boys today.  They seem like they will good for somethng, LOL. A good game for a child with dylexia... And it is hands on and visual. They see and pick up and move letters around... all good stuff.

I have paper cut to 1.5" sqaures and 1.5x3" rectangles and letter tiles. I make a word, then they make the shadow of the word. I make 4 words and 1 word shadow and they have to choose the correct word to go withthhe shadow. Or I make one shadow and they have to fond as many different words as they can that would fit that shadow.

Gavin is making word searches today. And we are tryingout a new online learning resource. It's called time4lrearning. We just started toady, I'll let you all know what it's like after we've done it a few weeks.

Ki has a nasty croupy cough today and Brian is sick. I have a headache and feel achey... I guess the germs never got out of the house completely.
