Aug. 30, 2007 - Yummy bread and my son's creativity!

I made homemade bread yesterday and it actually turned out!!! Ya for me! I found a recipe while blog hopping and just had to try it- since I had nothing better to do! :) It is very tasty, if I do say so myself! Here is a picture of my accomplishment- I'm pretty proud!

Also today while doing phonics with Jonathan, Austin decided to get a little creative with his Cars markers.

Luckily it's washable! I'd rather him write on himself than on my walls! That would be bad, considering we're renting and they're pretty strict about upkeep.

Well, that's about all I have for now- not a whole lot going on this week. My sister, Courtnie, is coming over with her new little guy to stay until tomorrow. They will be here any minute so I gotta run! I hope to get back on here again before the week is done. Until then- take care!

And you should be proud of that bread! I have tried so many times but we have never been able to eat what I make! it turns out soooo hard.
Your guy is such a cutie even with all those marks on him!
