The Writer

ok, I know its my turn to update about myself, so now that I'm on Christmas break, I actually have time. I am just going to demonstrate my writing skills by writing a short story on here. I'm warning you though, I'm better at long novels, so this might turn out a little strange.

I let out a long sigh as I stood gazing at the ocean, letting its strong breeze blow my hair where it pleased. My light, thin, blue dress blew out behind me, and the cool, wet sand along the shore touched my bare feet. I watched lazily as a gull flew over the water, seeming to chase the rising sun, in all its orange sparkling beauty.  My hair was as gold as the reflecting light on the water, my eyes as deep as the blue sea itself, outlined with long black lashes. My skin was as pale as a cloud, and my lips the color of roses. As I turned from the sea my eyes fell apon the glorious blue stoned castle I called my own. I smiled faintly as a rainbow slowly appeared across the sky. Every creature lived in harmony there. The birds singing harmonized with the buzzing bees, and the chattering squirrels played with the rabbits in the forest. As I strolled along the perfect shore I watched as a mermaid fondly took her pet fish for a swim, patting its rainbow scales, incouragingly. I could hear the sound of music playing from a village in the distance. The sound of laughter filled the air, as well. Suddenly, I perked my pointed ears to a sound from behind me. Yes, it was the sound of hooves galloping in my direction! I turned around and a look of great joy came over my face. The horse slowly stopped beside me, and I looked into the dark, handsome face of the rider. "Hello" He said, climbing down from his steed, to stand next to me. My eyes ran over his familliar green eyes, black hair, and dark tan skin. He wore a light blue tunic with a silver belt and a long golden sword. His cape was black on the outside, and silver on the inside with half moons and stars embroidered around it. "Have you missed me much, Gloria?" He asked smiling his perfect smile. "Only just a little, Darc. " I said smiling back. He laghed and picked me up into his arms to place atopn his horse. He climbed on after me, and we rode off along the beach, smiling and laughing together. Then, suddenly, the whoel sky turned black, the creatures scattered, and the music stopped. The ocean began to rage wildly, and our horse threw us to the ground and fled. Darc helped me up and stood infront of me, to portect me against the evil creature that faced us. It was a tall, black dragon, with flaming red eyes. I screached, and suddenly to my horror, Darc slowly began to fade away infront of my eyes. In another second he was gone. I cringed as the great beast opened its mouth to destroy me. But rather than blowing fire out at me, it make an obnoxious ringing sound.

Then....I woke up.  *sigh*

Hope does not like to title. Ha.

Ok, well, I guess I'll post. Tabby and Selena are off for the weekend for Thanksgiving, and I'll be staying home.  Ask them where they're going because I can NOT remember! :) They go to, like, 5 states. Or so they did for Christmas last year. ;)

Hmm... what to right about, what to right about. Well, Saturday I sang in a chorus on what was supposed to be on tv. :( We checked it that night, but evidently we were either too late in turning the channel( or they showed everything but the singing). But it was neat anyway just to sing on a professional looking stage!! Next performance will be next Saturday (not this Saturday, mind) in a church.  I'm pretty nervous since I have to jump from a D just above middle C to a high G (pretty much my range... lol)!

Well, wish I had something pretty to post like Selena. But, unfortunately, I am NOT an artist. I draw the flowers, baby. ;) Lol. End of post!  Whenever you're ready, Tab. And does anyone know of any good tags I could do?

Hope typing.

Oh yeah! LOVE the blog!  *clears throat* Hehe. FINALLY it's done. But aanyway... enough of that.  I guess I should go ahead and introduce ourselves. For those who don't know us; we're the Wicksley girls. I'm Hope, the Soprano, the second oldest.  I might be the one who blogs a bit more since Tabby is public schooled and has loads of homework (she would blog and write every second of the day if she could!) and Selena likes to write, but is better off dancing and drawing.  Don't worry though! She loves homeschooler blogger and will definitely blog I'd say at least once a week.  They'll both be here soon and introduce themselves on their own. :)

Hey, but before I go, I thought I'd just say I love the template, Tab! It's awesome! And I'll ttyl about the whole blog thing as soon as you get home from school.

And Selena- you can write next when you get home from dance whenever you want to!  It doesn't matter who's next when writing. Sorry about all that confusion on the password and everything! Ha! That was crazy. I'm on my way to deleting the other account now if at all possible...

Love y'all lots and lots!
