Mar. 23, 2007 - Crazy few days
Have not had time to be here in a few days, my 8 year old son came down with the flu and I have been dealing with the high fever and all that. Keeping the other 2 away from him has been the worst, this is really the first time any of them have been "sick". He is better today, it was a mild case thank God! It was pretty funny this morning when I went in to check on him and he says "I'd like my breakfast now " how quickly they get used to being waited on. I told my husband if he was really smart he would act sick for a few extra days just for the meals brought to him, but the sunshine beckons. We only have about a month left before we have our time in for this year, but we are going to do our own Summer Reading Program. I think they will enjoy it and it will help keep their minds sharp. All for now the sunshine beckons me too.
