Jan. 26, 2007 - Unforgettable Day
Hummm what can I say about today that wont be saying to much...Basically bright and early this morning the children and I went to the church to do a little cleaning in the Youth Facility. I am employed by the church to keep that facility clean on a weekly basis, generaly I put about 4 hours a week into it. Today was not a regular clean day just a day to go and check everything out since there were going to be a funeral dinner in the afternoon, and a children's ministry activity beginning at 8:00pm. Well, after dropping by the church office I asked my son to get in the drivers seat of the mini van so that he could once again take little practice through the parking lot...well we had a little "fender bender", that is how I will put it and leave it at that. Let me say it was embarrasing for he and I and my husband was.......well, not to happy with us. By the Grace of God all was well, most everything has and will be repaired and, our mini-van seems to have made it through with-out a scratch, just the reer-view mirror fell off in the impact. Plan is to get Wynn behind the wheel again soon so he will not be skimish over driving. It really devistated him, he was crushed, when something like that happens to your child........it really hurts your heart.
