Jan. 27, 2007 - Never Would Have Thought
This lovely picture is an "extreme makeover" by the one and only, 3rd child, Brianne! She got a little bored over the Holiday's and decided "do my hair" with these bendable flowers of course. As she is 'designing' I recalled a time in my life i would have never let a 10 year old touch my hair! Of course I was young, not married, aspiring High School Student...My how things change. I told her get my phone take a picture, hurry! She had me pose with my hand under chin, she said it looked perfect and SNAP the memory was sealed in time. The truth is I enjoyed that day with Brianne just letting her be creative and enjoying her imagination, it seems to make life simpler, less stressful when I really take time to "notice" who these little people are whom I have had a hand in raising. So thankful, I am truly thankful. I never and at the prime age of 17 would have thought I would have let my 10 year old daughter fix my hair.

I'm new here but I read your last entry and it is so true. I would get annoyed with people when they'd play with my hair, but now I have a 3 yr old brushing it...not always straight down either. :-)
