Jul. 4, 2007 - July 4th+Happy Freedom
We made a flag cake! Today one of the ways we clebrated was by making our own 4th of July cake! The inside of the cake is white with colorful sprinkles and butter cream vanilla frosting. We took 1/4 cup of frosting added 3 tablespoons of red sweetened kool-aid, mixed it till creamy, put it in a zip-loc bag, cut the bottom corner and squeezed in pipe stripes across the cake. We used blue sugar sprinkles to make Flags blue field, and white mini sweet-tarts for "stars". After our day of activity we cut the cake and searved it with our favorite ice cream!
