Aug. 28, 2007 - We Started School! August 22nd
Already in th flow I can't believe 2007/2008 school year is here, before I know it we will be making snowflakes for our windows in the class room......we generally don't get real ones where we live. This year my oldest started High School at a local Christian School, now it is just me and the "little ones" (5th and 7th grade hahahaha) Anyway, for curriculum I am using PACE School of tomarrow and layering a daily review of 3 lessons over their curriculum. I am following a guidline in tha Homeschool Teachers Plan Book by www.christianinstructor.com being sure that they have all the skills they need. Currently, we are writing essay's on the a President. We started the year reviewing the Continents, Oceans of the World and understanding Lattitude and Longitude. We miss Wynn but are really enjoying our time together.

Just wanted to say 'hello'! We use a more traditional approach to our schooling as well, and it is so hard to find others/support for textbook type curricula. :-)
