Well, it was a long time in coming, but...I have a new entry category.  Now I can post all my recipes, menus, etc without using my drama, comedy or scrapbook option.  See, the New Year is all about getting organized.  That's what we did yesterday.  Cleaned out kitchen cabinets, the pantry, the spice section, etc.  Man, are we slobs!  You know that part on the floor of the pantry that rarely gets cleaned?  Back there next to the giant jar of pickles and sackfuls of rice?  Yup.  We're talking THAT kind of cleaning.  Now, my labels are all facing forward like that freaky Julia Roberts movie back in the day.  Nothing says "I Love You" like organization.  

I went to the grocery store also and managed to save $40.00 over my usual spending.  I am not buying any more snacks, juice or cereal.    Wow!  Made a major difference.

You know, it's going to be 10 degrees outside tomorrow?  I'm already an icesicle just thinking about it.  Better run back downstairs by the fire.   While I'm down there, I'll check to see that all my labels are still facing the same direction.
