The Message and the Messenger

Beastboy’s eyes lit up, “A Jedi? Sweet! Can you do that “wave-your-hand-and-they-obey-you” thing?”
"Yes. But it only works on wind minded individuals." Erika smiled under her helmet.
The one they call Raven snorted. "Hey!" yelped Beast Boy as Raven's eyes started to glow.
"Friends! Please!" Starfire cried.
"Hey, want to see a trick?" Erika said to Beast Boy, a gleam in her eye.
"Sure! What?"
Erika muted the speaker in armor so the others couldn't hear her laugh as she picked Beast Boy up with the Force.
As she spun him in a circle around the air, Beast Boy yelled and thrashed his arms about. "GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!!"
All of a sudden, Beast Boy dropped out of the air and landed on top of Grey Wolf.
Beast Boy moaned "Oooooowww...! You need to work on your land-..."
He stopped mid-word.
Erika was bent over holding herself. "Someone's...here...and hurt," she gasped.
Robin's eyebrows shot up, "Where? Who's hurt?"
Erika pointed up with a gloved finger, “Quickly! Go get her!”
“Well, come on!” yelled Cyborg, grabbing Grey Wolf, Beast Boy and Raven.
The quartet run out of the room followed closely by Robin, White Wolf and Starfire.
Erika stood up painfully, “Whoever…is up there…is going to need a lot of asprin…tomorrow morning.”

The Titans ran through the Tower, tearing around the levels until they found her.
She was sitting on her knees, and looked up at them, Robin was unsettled by her gaze. “We’re going help you,” he said, “but who are you?”

“My name is… Erika.” she replied to Elenya’s question.

She gasped and fell over.
White Wolf rushed to her, and pressed the side of her neck. “We need shock therapy, now!” White Wolf cried.

Wolf Woman jumped, “Erika? Erika! What happened?”

Erika flew over the city. It was a quiet night. The moon was bright and the harbor calm.
This is nice, she thought, I'm glad I could take the night off, no droids, no giant bugs, and no evil dudes.
She had come this way to see where the Teen Titans lived. She looked at the huge building through her helmet. It looked like the letter "T". I wonder why, she thought facetiously.
She flew over to the top of the tower, and did a scan of the roof. She laughed to herself. Not very hi-tech, I thought Cyborg and Robin would have a little more than sonic cannons and lasers.
She landed on the rooftop, careful of pressure sensitive plates, and walked over to the opening leading into the tower. She paused to listen to a wolf howl and wondered why there would be a wolf anywhere near here before climbing down. She walked into the living room, and went to the fridge that was nearby.
I'm starving! That shape shifter is supposed to be vegan, I wonder if he has anything I could eat. She went through the fridge, looking for some healthy food. She found only vegetables and some tofu that yelled about "Nufu". She sighed, grabbed a carrot and shoved the tofu in the trash can. She put a dollar bill in the vegetable's spot and munched on the carrot as she made her way to the couch.
She listened to the sound of someone wandering around a few floors up. Then something caught her eye. Hey look, Super Mario Brothers 3! I love that game! She grabbed a controller and was about to turn it on when she heard another wolf howl, or what seemed to be a fairly good impression of one. She turned the game on and beat Cyborg and Beast Boy's high score. She giggled, then stopped. She felt someone through the Force. |
