Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

So often I get ahead of myself, with my needs, or wants or desires. I need to put God and His righteousness back in His proper place. I need to seek Him first. I need to remember that the only reason I was even created, was and is to bring glory to God!!!

When I am seeking Him, all the other "stuff" will fall into place. Sometimes things don't look good and we don't understand why we are going through a trial. The good thing is God does. Just like a crosstitch, on one side it is all strings and knots, nothing looks good, but on the other side it is turning into a beautiful picture. Our lives might be looking a little tangled and knotty, but God is looking at us from the other side and seeing the work of art He is creating in us.

I encourage you all to just seek Him this week. I will be doing the same thing.
