Feb. 25, 2008 - A few things accomplished

Did I mention I have CABIN FEVER????????????????????????
Im getting so bored. Im having to find things to do to occupy my time til its pretty weather. Today we enjoyed outside a little while. David disked up my garden spot for me and Im just planning away. I will start planning my early spring stuff. I let the girls out a bit today to browse. Tisha is getting bigger. Still skittish about me touching her belly, but this might change the bigger she gets and wants to be comforted. Cocoa is a little jealous, and I think she really will be after the kid gets here.
We are almost done with Science and will move onto Health. We are almost done with our History Notebook of Tennessee. I didnt know TN had so much history in it. It was interesting to find out all these things. We only have 58 lessons left. Hooray!!!!!!!!!!! Today Dakota had a rough time on his Arithmetic test. It was one of those times he was in the hallway crying because he was so frustrated. I however was minding my own business in the bathroom and here he comes. I cant hide anywhere. Ha! Needless to say he got  the answer he was looking for and he was able to dry his eyes. I hate to see him struggling with things, but its a hard lesson to learn and teach them to think, think, think, for themselves. Its in there you just have to pull it out. Im enjoying Arithemetic because he is working on fractions. And in Language we are diagraming sentences. I loved these in school. The harder the better for me. When he gets to Algebra, you can forget it. Daddy will have to step in and help. Dallas is doing great. I can call out a letter and hell write it himself. Im so proud. He writes his name now on his papers in Sunday School and everywhere. His Sunday School teacher and her husband went to CO. on a skiing trip. She sent him a post card that had a picture of someone skiing on a snow covered mountain. He tried to read it himself. He did the skiing part right just by looking at the picture. Hes been taking his Bible and "reading" to Daddy. He really cant read yet, he just makes things up as he goes, but low and behold it makes sense. Ha! Dakotas gift right now is hes good with kids and loves to entertain people  and likes to help teach. God will use him in a special way one day. Right now Dallas is good at being mischievous. Ha! Hell learn his gift some day too.
Our ladies bible study is going great. I enjoy the fellowship and the lessons.
My herbs are growing good. I had a chance to meet this lady the other day when me and the boys run some errands. We met a Co-Op and she was asking about some goats. Well you know me, I had to speak up. We wound up talking over lunch for 3 hours. It was wonderful to meet someone who has so much in common with me. That night she called and told me that they drove to the farm where I got my girls and they have put a deposit down on tow kids that will be here the first week in March. They are excited. She wants to come see my girls. She wants to do all the things I do too with the milk.
Well Im so tired and in need of a shower so Ill close for now. Hope everyone is blessed in the Lord.
