Welcome to 4dfarms
Mar. 6, 2008 - Very educational day

Today was a very educational day for us. Dakota made a 100 on his Science 9 wk exam. and a 100 on History quiz. After school we went to a friends house and saw some baby goats just born Tuesday and one was born today. They were so cute and loveable. Then we got to see and pet their horses. Dakota wants a horse so bad. That will have to come later. I want him to know alot about them first. We will get  him some books to study. Then their son is a volunteer fire fighter her in our town and he took us to the fire station and gave them a tour and a ride in the fire truck. We got a picture of him in his uniform and by his truck and put it in Dakotas state history notebook. We featured our Pharmicist at Walmart due to him recieving the Sam Walton award for heroism. He saved a mans life who had had a severe reaction to some medication he was given. He is also in Davids fishing club. and the other person we will feature is my sister in law who is a nurse at a nursing home in Bolivar.
Its been pretty weather the past few days so Ive let the girls out to roam and get excercise. Tisha is resting a little more. I should get my milk stand in the next few days. Got some hoof trimming to do. I will attend an event in Jackson this fall that the American Dairy Goat Assoc. will be at. I might get into showing them, Idont know yet. I have to learn more on that.
After traveling to MS Monday, it took me two days to recooperate. I had to take some Prednisone to get unstiffened. Oh Well "MOMMA SAID THERE"D BE DAYS LIKE THIS"
