Welcome to 4dfarms
Mar. 13, 2008 - Rooster Wrangling

Gosh its been so long. We've gone from spring to winter to spring again. This weather is crazy. Last weekend David got to come home but he was sick. He had left AR with a foot of snow on the ground. Saturday we got out and played in the snow and had a good time. The girls didnt exactly know what to do. The rest of the weekend we watched movies and relaxed.
Its been pretty all week. I had a doctors appt. yesterday and everything went well. I stopped by Coop just to see if they had their baby chics in, so guess what, we now have 4 new chicks to our farm. These will be pets. I promised Dallas he would have baby chicks 2 years ago. Hes waited patiently. We tried to incubate some the first year to no avail, then we missed the baby chicks when they were at Coop last year, I got first pick this year. They are in a pet crate under a lamp in the living room. The boys slept in their with them last night. They are the cutest things. Today on our way back from town to run errands, we notice all these little chickens running loose in a parking lot, we get out to investigate, they are all little roosters. Someone had just dumped them out, so here we go ROOSTER WRANGLIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEEHAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We could only outsmart one. We took the little guy home and they named him Little Man. Dakota has named his chicks Peep and Fluff. Dallas hasnt picked out names yet. Daddy said he guesses now hell have to build me a coop. YOU THINK?
Were going to take off school tomorrow. The boys cousin is here for spring break so well enjoy it too.
Next Friday were taking a trip to Medina, TN to learn how to make cheese. We have had the best time in Revival this week. Dakota helped two little girls last night make a decision to get saved and went with them to talk to Bro. Ben. I witnessed and led a little boy to the Lord last night. It is such an awesome feeling.
Well as far as the rest of the weekend were just gonna sit back and enjoy, the boys do have a Easter egg hunt Saturday morning and then baseball tryouts that afternoon.
God bless everyone and have a good weekend.
