Welcome to 4dfarms
Mar. 17, 2008 - Good weekend

The boys and I all had a good weekend. I let Dakota take the day off Friday so he could spend more time with his cousin Hunter. We all pitched in that morning and cleaned the house, we had it all done before the hour was up. One was vacuuming, one dusting, one mopping, while I did the kitchen and organized things again. Then we all folded laundry and put it away. Boy, that was great. Saturday we went to the church for Easter Egg hunt. Everyone had a ball. I couldnt keep up with Dallas. Just as everyone was going back into the life center it started hailing. Dakota got hit in the head, and Hunter got hit in the shoulder. It was pretty bad for a little while. No one was going or coming in or out. When it was all done, we went to town to do some Easter shopping. We went to Cato's to get mine. Dakota  helped me pick it out. He has good taste like his Daddy. Im trying to teach him how to spoil his wife and take care of her. The we went to Belk and JCPenny and got the boys. Dakota said "anything but khaki, Momma." I guess hes tired of khaki.
Then we ate lunch and came home. Sunday we had a good time at church and baptized 3 children who had gotten saved in revival. The choir had done out Easter Contada. I messed up my solo. Oh Well nobodies perfect. Then that night the Teamkids put on their program and it was great. Dakota got to play Jesus and was on the cross. I almost cried. Just thinking about how Mary felt. Dallas was doing a pretty good job of trying to sing in between yawns.  My parents got to come see him. His friend is moving and he is a little sad. But they still will be close enough to let him spend the night.
Hunter didnt want to go home he wanted to stay. He would come live with us if he could.
Today was ok. Just slow. The boys went and did some work for my mother in law in her yard and got them a little spending money. I went to a 4H club meeting to see what they had to offer. Dakota wasnt interested. He really wants to work with horses. But we dont have any for him to join and use in 4H. Maybe later. Im going to see if I can find him a little job working in someones barn and they can teach him about horses and work with him. He also wants to learn how to tan hides and make things with the hides.
May not get to plant anything this week in the garden, its suppose to rain again tomorrow. Then I have to let the soil dry a little again. Maybe next week. Hubby called and said it may be a week longer that hell have to stay. So now that puts him up to April 7 coming home.
Little Man is doing fine. He cut his toenail off in the quick and it was bleeding bad, so we had to dr. him up today. Hunter has claimed him as his, so I told him we would keep him and take care of him for him. He had to show his dad as soon as he came and picked him up. Baby chicks are growing their wing feathers. They are still so cute. Sach got into the house today and went to the crate to "check out" the chicks. He poked his nose up there and one pecked it. He didnt seem to mind, then he put his paw up there and let them peck it. It was so funny. Hes just curious.
Well gotta go and put the boys to bed then myself. Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow. God Bless.
