Rainbows From Heaven

First Flowers of Spring....

Posted By 4evrHischild in Family Life

snowdrops

Nestled safely beneath the branches of our long ago forsaken Christmas tree, I found these little beauties yesterday. The refuge they found in this tree protected them from the tumultuous winds and torrential rains of the storm we had here on Monday and Tuesday.

It reminds me of our refuge in Christ, who holds us in his hand, when the storms rage all around us. He is my protector, my refuge, my strength, my hightower. In Him will I rest. I will snuggle down in the protection of His salvation and "I will lie down in peace and sleep for my mind is stayed on thee."

Such beauty beneath the branches.

I will lie down in peace and sleep for my mind is stayed on thee."

That is the same verse I gave to "Especially Heather" last night.

Have a blessed Spring filled week end.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie

Thanks so much for the comment about my poem. I've had lots of these poems hiding away in my old Tripod site...I actually still have the site but it needs mega work done on it. I'm glad you like the poem and felt inspired by it. It is a published work of mine.

We usually only get one or two of those each year. We never get a bunch like that! Beautiful entry, a good reminder.

Great entries...what a sweet family to plan so many surprises for your birthday! God just envelopes believers and blesses them beyond measure! If only the lost would know of His blessings.

Spring? The plants in our area are so confused!!!
We had 80 degree days for about two weeks and then dropped to the highs in the 30's and 40's!
I was so happy we didn't begin our gardern early this year.
Our holly bushes all had new growth and now they are all brown and wilted....and terribly confused. LOL
It's back in the 70's and plenty of sunshine...and rain.

Our family has been working hard to prepare for our grand opening May 19. It's been exciting to see the store take shape. If I can figure out how to upload more than one picture, I'll add the before and afters on my blog.

Hope you're doing well. Are you going to participate in the next SS round?
Thank you for your prayers...for myself and those I'd mentioned on my blog. :-)

Complete in Him,
Shari
