When we cry out ~ He answers...

Posted By 4evrHischild in Month of Praises

Isaiah 30:18-21
Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;
And therefore He will be exalted and have mercy on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for Him.
For the People shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem;
You shall weep no more.
He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry;
When He hears it, He will answer you.
And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity
and the water of affliction,
Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore,
But your eyes shall see your teachers.
Your ears shall hear a word behing you, saying
"This is the way, walk in it,"

     Our minister read these verses at prayer meeting tonight. Did you catch what verse 19 says ~ He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; When He hears it, He will answer you. That makes me wonder about times I haven't felt like I've received an answer. Have I cried out to Him or just sought him half-heartedly. I also love the part at the end of these verses where it says we will hear a voice behind us, telling us which way to go. How comforting to know that God wants to answer us and guide us ~ all we have to do is cry out to Him.

I like the new look on your blog. I have stopped by and tried to post comments a couple of times but HSB ate them. Anyway, I loved reading about your school adventure at the beach. It sounds like things are really going well for you. I am glad to hear of it. God is so good.
