June 4, 2008 - Needing Comments!
I really don't want to nag anybody but would one or more of you (my devoted blog readers) please go leave a comment on Sarah's post at our sister blog? She wrote a really creative and beautiful poem and (as happens with me when I say something in a conversation) everybody, well, more or less, shut up! I'd really appreciate it! And thanks in advance!

I left Sarah a comment!
I love your cake post! It made me hungry, though. *looks downcast* Oh, well, I can fix that by cooking supper! Ha-ha!
Love you very much!

You're quite right about weather up here.... Ours is drizzly and wet too. I am guilty of complaining about it as well, but it just doesn't seem right that it is gray in June! So Texas winters are cold and drizzly too? I'd never really thought about that!
Well, summer is coming and it is normally very warm, sunny, and dry! I'm really looking forward to it!
O yes, tell your sister Sarah that she did a great job with that poem! I was really impressed! Its neat how it sort of connects your home in TX and your new home in WA. ( I also really enjoyed reading Josie's posts of your trip. Very fun! Especially with that very interesting CARS dialogue in the comments section. ;-)
Have a blessed day, Melanie!

No problemo: I'd been meaning to get over there! So yours was a convenient reminder! Free advertizing is always good. ;-)
You'll make a cake when we come? Yay! *becomes irrationally happy*
Love,

The cakes look lovely! If I were a judge, I for one would be quite impressed. What are the decorations on the top of the white cake? They do a good job breaking up a simple white frosting, and add a bit of pizazz!
You had trouble with a runny frosting too? Was it a six-minute frosting? (You know, the kind you make on the stove...) I still have not gotten that to work to my satisfaction.
Wish I were closer, and could sample the mouth watering delicacies!!!!!
Later! (Isn't it such a fine way to sign off!)
