Homeschooling Kiwi Style

New Impressionist Art Books!

On Saturday I went to our city's annual Red Cross Book Sale - a treasure trove for home schoolers!  I've found many wonderful living books at these events over the years, and the books are always very cheap.

Among the slightly dearer priced books I found three art books, which I'd been hoping to find for our Impressionists study.  I found a large book on The Impressionists, (which needs a little censoring for the children!) and two smaller books, one on Sisley, who is going to be included in the exhibition next year and another on The Art of Landscapes, which includes many of the Impressionists.  They have beautiful colour pictures in them.
