Our latest favourite Friday night meal has been waffles with home-made maple syrup.  We have a neat penguin-shaped waffle maker (called "Waddles") which the girls love.  Here is a link to my favourite recipe online.  I doubled the recipe and we had enough left over for tonight's dessert.
