Well, there is not a lot to tell you about last week. We had a very busy week outside of the home so we were not able to accomplish much Konos. We did manage to get through the basics; language, math, writing and such.
This week is much of the same story. Daddy is off work this week and home with us so we are just spending some nice family time. I always love having him home but I just have to accept that nothing will get done. J
I think I have mentioned that card making is a hobby of mine. I made this birthday card last week for a church friend who is serving over in the desert. Let’s remember to keep all our service men and women in our prayers.

I am going to request a prayer from you please. There is a very sweet elderly family in my church who need your prayers. They just celebrated 59 wonderful years of marriage this year! Unfortunately the wife is in the hospital and not doing so well. Now I am sure you can imagine that this poor sweet man’s heart is broken. Please if you have time say a little prayer for this family. It is much appreciated.
I hope you all are having a blessed week in your homeschool and life.

MMMM….Try
this recipe!!!
Just wanted to let you know I just tried this yummy recipe that I found
on ButterFly4Him's blog!!
Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Serves 6 + (6 quart slow cooker)
Adapt to fit your needs (Larger crowd for end-of-the-year celebration? Just double the recipe!)
3 lb. pork shoulder (butt) roast
2 bottles barbeque sauce (your favorite)
1/3 cup water
Rolls or buns
Spray slow
cooker with nonstick spray. Trim excess fat from pork roast if desired.
You will need to leave some for proper cooking (keeps it from drying
out). Set roast in bottom of cooker and pour all of both bottles of
barbeque sauce over meat. Add 1/3-cup water. Cook on low for 8 hours.
After roast is fully cooked, remove and place in large bowl. Shred completely with two forks. Serve on your choice of bread. It was great! Thanks for posting.

Never
any time to be bored….
Oh my
goodness!! Yes, my kids definitely keep things interesting! LOL! Here is
Ashlynn after having a cast put on her *broken* arm today. She fell off the
swing
poor thing.

Well on a
lighter note… we let our beautiful butterflies go free the other day.
You can see
in this picture Ashlynn has one on her hand!

Here are some
pictures of yet another great KONOS activity! We used paint blobs and folded
the paper to make it symmetrical.

They really turned out great! And of course
the kids had a lot of fun. Jonathan said “Mom, I love KONOS!!” I told him I do
too.
Well, I think
I might get some quiet time…
I hope you
all have a wonderful weekend. I will be busy *avoiding* the E.R.
