Im so proud of him

He is doing so well lately. The day dh & I decorated the LR to surprise the dc for Valentines day he stood beside dh handing him balloons everytime dh asked for one. The other day he was writing again, of course it was on a shelf  but he switched to paper as soon as I gave him some. I gave him a blank notebook & he filled the whole thing with his writing too. This morning when he was done with his bath he said "towel?". (This is a child who still will hop out of the tub & run into the LR if Im not RIGHT there to catch him.) I was combing my hair & told him just a minute. He got out of the tub & picked up his towel & wrapped it around himself. I said "Koda, can you let the water out of the tub?" He looked at me & immediately leaned over the tub & pulled the plug, then wrapped the towel around himself & walked out.   We have been working on following simple directions for so long & to see it finally clicking like that with him is just SUCH a wonderful feeling. Im just so very proud him.

It is so wonderful to hear how he is doing. Following directions successfully is such a huge step for him, and wonderful news for you after consistent work. It does pay off, we are slowly watching the same sort of blessings unfold each day. LOVE the shelf writing!! Praise God for washable markers. :-)
