he ate what?????

Dakota does NOT eat hamburger in any form. We have not been able to get him to eat it since about 18 - 20 months old. He has also refused to ever try bacon. Not a huge deal on that one I guess since it really isnt that healthy anyway. LOL Last night we had to do a quicky meal so I grilled burgers & made bacon for bacon cheeseburgers. I was going to make him  hot dogs instead but had something come up I needed to deal with first & the other food was already starting to get cold so I just told the other dc to go ahead & make their burgers. Dakota was happily looking at a book so I told them to just let him read for a minute & Id fix his food as soon as I could.  When I came back he had taken a hamburger patty & a handful of bacon & was eating them.   This cant be my child.

Just found your blog. My 7 yo has PDD/high functioning autism. He is doing pretty well now, but when he was younger it was really tough sometimes. I have 4 other children.
