Sep. 13, 2008 - Notebooking and vacation ideas Hilton Head, SC

We are traveling to Hilton Head, SC, Patriot's Point, Ft. Pulaski, Ft. Sumter, Tybee island, and Cumberland Gap next week.  I'm putting together a vacation/travel notebook for each of the kids.  We began notebooking this year with the My Father's World Curriculum, and it is fun to look back through the notebooks already and see the wide variety of topics being learned.  It all fits together - Bible, language, Writing strands, Science, History, Art, Music, Nature... 



Any successful travel ideas or good restaurants in the area that are inexpensive - especially Kids Eat Free - would be a blessing if you'd like to comment.

Striving to raise our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Our greatest desire for our children is they will learn to continually surrender their will to God's will for their lives and serve Him wholeheartedly. We want to begin each day dependent on the Lord Jesus Christ to help us through each day together. When we fail, may we stop and refocus on our need of Christ. May we become more like Him daily.
