Mar. 15, 2006 - The Laundry Monster
I keep reading post about taming the laundry monster and I have to ask, "Why would anyoe want to tame this ugly beast?" Are we hoping to make a pet of the thing? I don't know about you, but I cannot figure out why anyone would want to keep this thing that is always making messes on my laundry room floor, eating all my free time and feeding the grumpy bugs that grow inside of me! I don't want to tame it, I want to shoot it!!!!!!!!

Good point!! Why oh, why do we have laundry??? I am sure that women through the ages have all hated it. Funny you should post about that, b/c my mother loves to do laundry. In fact just yesterday, I took 6 loads to her house to be done! She knows that I am "laundry challenged" and says that she hardly has any between her and my dad. So, my loads (this week anyway) are traveling to get done. :)

If I do the laundry everyday, it's not as bad. It's one of those neverending chores though. I just put out the laundry basket in the hallway at night & everyone can throw their clothes in for the next day! We hardly use hampers anymore LOL. :-)

Sis said her Mom does hers for her, so maybe I need to think about getting my Mom to move in with me.
PS. If you conquer him, let me know how!

You've got a way with words!
Our beast is rather tame...I don't think it plans on moving out anytime soon as we feed it too well.
