Okay...you've all heard of the Jabberwocky right? Well, this is a sample of MY take on portmanteau-ish poems.  ~Alexandra~

As I made my pleary way
Along mudgy slirky ocwalks,
I stept in ploosh in my new shoes
It soaped into my swell socks.

A queedish car along the street
Quickly by me passes
And up from where the waters meet
My skirt it hadly plashes

My ruined outfit I expect
Reflects the weather's pose.
Next time that I get so wet
I'll surely not wear clothes!

oh yes. i forgot about that. heh heh...i'm surprised at some of the crazy words i came up with! each one is actually a mix of two or more words. the actual word doesn't mean anything in particular, but it gets the poet's point across. for example: 'mudgy' is a mix of 'muddy' and 'sludge', it gets the point across that i'm walking in yucky conditions.
