Super Bowl Sunday and My Stuff
Okay good, finally I am going to take a break from politics...for one post.
Now first of all, this Sunday just happens to be Superbowl Sunday, and that is always exciting...well last year wasn't cause my team lost, but you get what I mean. For the first time in years though, I won't be rooting against someone because I like Kurt Warner a lot, but I also like the Steelers. I think I might just end up going with the Cards just for that reason, especially since the Steelers won a superbowl 4 years ago, while the Cards haven't won since 1947!
So go Cards!
On a better note, I took the CLEP College Mathematics test and I passed! CLEP tests give you the ability to earn credits by taking tests without actually having to take the course, so it saves time, and you don't have to enroll in a college to take the test.
So I give God the glory for that!
Now i was tagged a longo timo-o by Cat2, but with the Immaculation and other interesting subjects, I haven't done it till now. Its fits perfectly with whats going on in the national arena...and with my post "It has begun".
1. Are you afraid of the dark? No, but I used to be. I actually think I was more scared of what was in the dark then the darkness itself!
2. Would you go skydiving? Not on your life...if I had to, I would, but definitely wouldn't do it for entertainment.
3. Does the bit in Prince Caspian were the White Witch almost comes back to life give you the spooks? Since I haven't seen the movie, I wouldn't know, but I rarely get "the spooks".
4. Do you enjoy scary movies? Nope I don't. Scary parts in movies yes, but I don't watch movies to make myself scream. Makes no sense to me.
5. Have you ever been in a graveyard at night? Exactly why would I want to do that?
Now I don't believe in being afraid, because Psalms 34:4 says, "I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fear". So we don't have to be afraid, even if the country looks a mess. So when thoughts of fear come, we can trust God, and pray, and we will see ourselves, the Church, and our nation rise from the ashes!
God bless you and God bless America

Waah!!!!
Probably most of you are like really cold right now. You want to know what our temperature is right now?
79F
It's like, really freezing down here! I really like the cold, so I am not very excited about the heat...but it will get cold again in a couple of days so i guess its okay...
We did get snow a few days ago, so that was really cool, but now the temperature is high again.
God is good though, and we are amazingly blessed.
Our family is starting a new business, so be praying for its success!
Also, check out my playlist I added to this blog...

blog merger question
Okay, I wanted to ask ya'll this, just to throw it out there.
Do any of you think I should merge this blog with my politics blog?
I know people can get fed up with politics sometimes, so i was sorta thinking that I should put all my blog posts on one blog.
Please let me know what you think?
I am open to suggestions.
Live Long and Prosper

Somebody BEAT THE GIANTS!!!!!!!
This is infuriating!
Well, I'm not infuriated but I have a right to be!
Everybody knows what happened last year.
The Patriots were 18-0 and headed toward the superbowl to play a team they already beat in the regular season. Do I go on?
After that nightmare, I disliked the Giants enough.
Now, with Brady gone for the year, and the Pats struggling, the Giants look unstoppable!
Their star wide receiver shoots himself in the leg, and they still win!
Somebody stop these guys!
Looking over the schedule, the Romo Cowboys appear to be the only ones who can stop them. They better
Like I said, I think Florida is gonna cream Alabama, but we'll see...
God bless

LSU Season Finally Over!-well almost
How far have we come? :Last year we were national champions, now we stand in third place in the SEC west, with a dismal record of 7-5.
For the first time since 2002, we lose 2 straight games, one to Ole Miss and the other to Arkansas. That's after 3 losses to Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
Now all that remains is a minor bowl game to close out LSU's lackluster season.
Well, we will be back next year-with a vengeance!
Now for the SEC championship game and the BCS Championship.
I predict that Florida decimate Alabama as the Crimson Tide finally falls from the limelight(I will watch Florida win with great satisfaction). Or I should say Tebow, cause there's not really much else I like about the Gators.
I predict that the BCS game will feature Florida vs. Texas in an epic battle that will be a great finish to the college football season. Florida will win it, so I am predicting Florida will win the BCS this year.
God bless |

My Favorite Actors List
My Top Ten Favorite Actors
1. Patrick Stewart-plays as the captain of the Enterprise in TNG and as the professor in X-Men. He is a notable stage actor, and performs in plays worldwide. His portrayal of Captain Picard is what I like the most...He displays well what it means to be the leader... My favorite picture of him is he standing side by side with Ronald Reagan. You can see it at startrek.com in his pictures.
2. Harrison Ford-the greatest action movie star of all time, with roles ranging from Indiana Jones to Hans Solo in Star Wars. He is absolutely fabulous as an actor.
3. John Wayne-his rugged persona typified the true American. Besides being the highest paid actor for the longest time, he won academy awards for his performance in True Grit, and for numerous other films.
4. Charleton Heston-know for his amazing performance in Ben-Hur and numerous other films, Heston ranks as one of the best in my book.
5. Alec Guinness-know for his spectacular performance in The Bridge Across the River Kwai and for his portrayal of Obi-won Kenobi in Star Wars, Guinness ranks high on my list.
6. Ewan Macgregor-you can tell by now that I like Obi-Won Kenobi. Macgregor starred as Obi-won Kenobi in Star Wars episodes 1-3. His quick wit and humor made him stand out as my favorite of the actors playing in the same movies.
7. Leonard Nimoy-know around the world as Spock, this actor starred in the television series Star Trek and was a major figure in all 6 of the motion pictures.
.8 Hayley Mills-my favorite child star of all time-known especially for her performance in the award winning Parent Trap.
9. William Shatner-The powerful captain of the original Enterprise and has starred in all 6 of the motion pictures, and has played in a diverse set of roles.
10. Natalie Portman-one of the best female actresses of all times, especially know for her performance as Padme in episodes 1-3 of Star Wars.
11. Kirk Cameron-known for his exceptional performance in the movie Fireproof. One of the best, especially known for his Christian values.
12. Jonathan Fraikes-known affectionately as "number 1" in Star Trek TNG, he is know for his humerous faces, and his trademark beard that characterized him throughout most of the series.
That's all for now...
Now that I've said who mine are...WHO ARE YOURS?

Football Entry 2
Ouch, for those of you who didn't watch LSU-Alabama, it was sooo close. Our quarterback is just ...what can I say...he threw 4 interceptions. Still, he pulled it together and the score was 21-21 close to the end of the fourth. Alabama drove, and got in position for a 29 yard field goal...For those of you who don't watch football that is a easy kick to make. The snap was made, the kick was made, and somehow we blocked it! Then we went into overtime, and eh, we lost...The good news is that LSU finally played the way they were supposed to. Spectacular defense, great running game, and close all the way...
Now, I might end up having to cheer for the Florida Gators(ewww) in the SEC championship...I hope Nick Saban loses!
The Pats will win tomorrow!
God bless you and God bless America |

I am getting ready to watch football, so I won't be on for the rest of the day(or tomorrow) most likely.
To football fans out there-what teams do ya'll like(pro and college). I already know what POTCGirl's team is. My favorite football player of all time is Tom Brady( I pray he will be fine). My favorite team is (you guessed it) the Patriots-but then again my profile already says that. I generally like players and as a result like their teams. I like the Packers, but when Farve jumped over to New York i started liking the Jets(a little bit). The other 3 QB's I like are Peyton Manning, Kurt Warner, and Drew Brees.
Also I'll give you a few teams I really don't like
Dallas Cowboys-why, I just don't
New York Giants-for that disgusting Superbowl game last year
Detroit Lions-Just because they are what they are
College
USC-so overrated every year, and then they lose every year
Florida Gators-No offense to Gators fans-but after they dissed my favorite college team a couple weeks ago, mesa no like.
That's all for now
God Bless you, and God bless America

Best Movies All Time List
This is a list of my favorite movies all time.
I. Star Wars Episode V Empire StrikesBack-my favorite movie all time. One of the best I think!
II. Star Trek First Contact-In my opinion by far the best Star Trek movie ever. Resistance is futile!!!
III. The Parent Trap-I like the 1960s version with Hayley Mills, not the more recent one.
IV. Star Wars Episode IV-almost as good as Episode V, it also is the highest grossing box office hit of all time.
V. The Searchers(starring John Wayne), while I've always like John Wayne movies, this tale of a man who endures to the very end is stunningly powerful.
VI. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade-The combination of Harrison Ford and Sean Connery is almost irrestible in this legendary tale.
VII. Ben-Hur-while older than my other favorites, this movie is one of the best ever made. Absolutely breathtaking chariot race.
VIII. Robin Hood(1936 Errol Flynn version)- we rented this movie from the local library and it was the most entertaining movie of its kind that I have seen. For Star Wars fans, George Lucas got the lightsaber duel idea partly from this movie.
IX. Facing the Giants-This movie was superb, and is one of the best liked movies by our family.
X. Star War Episode I-The Phantom Menace-while the story wasn't comparable to the originals, the lightsaber duel at the end was absolutely magnificent! Its comparable to the battle between Anakin and Obi-won in Episode III
If any of you have any favorite family movies, please post them! |

A Scripture or two
I was thinking about what to put up first on my blog when it struck me to start with a scripture.
The scripture of the year(for me), is Psalms 34:8, "Taste and see that the Lord is good:blessed is the man that trusteth in Him". For me, that is just an awesome passage about the goodness of Jesus.
For our family 2008 has been a year of new beginnings, from a move to a new house, to job changes, to-well everything. We felt God dealing with our family to move from our comfortable house out in the country to a more suburban type area. While it has been different(we used to have 17 acres, a stocked pond, and a horse), when God tells you to move, like when he told Abraham, its in our best interests to do so!! As I stated in the thingamjig about me, I have 11 brothers and sisters, 9 at home, so its been ... interesting. Still, I have to say it has been an immense blessing, even though its tense sometimes(have you ever taken 10 kids to Walmart). All around, I have to say, God has blessed us so much!
I'll post again later.
