Super Bowl Sunday and My Stuff
Okay good, finally I am going to take a break from politics...for one post.
Now first of all, this Sunday just happens to be Superbowl Sunday, and that is always exciting...well last year wasn't cause my team lost, but you get what I mean. For the first time in years though, I won't be rooting against someone because I like Kurt Warner a lot, but I also like the Steelers. I think I might just end up going with the Cards just for that reason, especially since the Steelers won a superbowl 4 years ago, while the Cards haven't won since 1947!
So go Cards!
On a better note, I took the CLEP College Mathematics test and I passed! CLEP tests give you the ability to earn credits by taking tests without actually having to take the course, so it saves time, and you don't have to enroll in a college to take the test.
So I give God the glory for that!
Now i was tagged a longo timo-o by Cat2, but with the Immaculation and other interesting subjects, I haven't done it till now. Its fits perfectly with whats going on in the national arena...and with my post "It has begun".
1. Are you afraid of the dark? No, but I used to be. I actually think I was more scared of what was in the dark then the darkness itself!
2. Would you go skydiving? Not on your life...if I had to, I would, but definitely wouldn't do it for entertainment.
3. Does the bit in Prince Caspian were the White Witch almost comes back to life give you the spooks? Since I haven't seen the movie, I wouldn't know, but I rarely get "the spooks".
4. Do you enjoy scary movies? Nope I don't. Scary parts in movies yes, but I don't watch movies to make myself scream. Makes no sense to me.
5. Have you ever been in a graveyard at night? Exactly why would I want to do that?
Now I don't believe in being afraid, because Psalms 34:4 says, "I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fear". So we don't have to be afraid, even if the country looks a mess. So when thoughts of fear come, we can trust God, and pray, and we will see ourselves, the Church, and our nation rise from the ashes!
God bless you and God bless America

Hey,
I just like regular green tea, the weird flavors taste kind of icky :) Sometimes chai green is ok, but I have to be in the mood. I usually start my morning with Ty-phoo tea, we get it from the english food section in safeway :) But earl gray is good too...
Hazelnut coffee can be good, but mostly I drink it without any flavors :)
You're so right, we have nothing to fear really. The veggietales song "God is bigger than the boogie man" comes to mind, or in this case, God is bigger than the democrats...
Another good verse: Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Oh and sure, I'll add you too :)

Haha thats where you heard of earl gray?? Thats funny :) Sometimes my dad gets mad (well, fake mad) when I leave my teabag in for too long...he doesn't understand my need for strong tea. Or coffee for that matter. Whenever I make filter coffee he always dilutes it.
Oh and thanks for voting on my poll, I'll put more up soon :D |

| ryc: Thanks! I haven't seen Rooster Cogburn yet but I would love to see John Wayne and Hepburn team up! That could be so funny...it is hard to imagine those two together. Oh, and yes, I love westerns, actually. True Grit was good, so I'd def. like to see that one sometime. |

God bless America. We sure need his blessings.
But we have been blessed so many times, and I pray on day that America would bless God.
I wouldn't go skydiving either, I hate high hights!
Shalom,
