Once Upon A Time...

How my summer break is going..fine thankyou!

This is it..summer break is here I have a poem I'd like to post on this blog so here it is

My joy cries out; but yet a sigh

A heart-felt leap; and though a cry

I find myself in the mist of day

Though the sun has not yet found its way

    A path lies ahead

Made of leafy bed

    Which one shall I take?

What road does it lead?

Alas, I must take heed

For a path has many doors to open

Dreams that whisper a name long forgotten

  A legend, a myth, a story, a prophesy

My Lord’s love is enough for me.

How did you like it? I felt like using a different color besides black for this entry so I chose green..then teal.

I also have a story that I'm working on and more than I can keep up with ideas! Well I can store these ideas until I'm ready for another story.

Last week we went to a dedication for our second youngest coming (the youngest is still in my Aunt's womb due in November, I strongly belive the UNBORN are PEOPLE too!) it was basically a blessing over the baby..the service was nice but it was missing Mary, Mary Mother of God. Why is she so important? Why do Catholics honor her? First of all she's the Mother of God..God chose her to be Jesus' mother, a sinless and pure virgin of God, Jesus grew up in the hands of his Mother and before he died he called to John, his apostle and His Mother, Mary. An said to John "John, behold your Mother. Mother, behold your son." It was then when Mary became our mother, Our Blessed Mother...The New Eve...that is why.

After the dedication we had a cookout, and played sports. Trying to defend one long wall by yourself in dressy church shoes can be very hard..I should get sneakers, though I'd prefer moccasins! I run barefoot all day anyway. The only sport I'm good at is Kneeboarding..not an everyday normal sport but it's a sport anyway. Tubing too, we only do those things once a year while on vacation with my family (Dad's side, we see my Mom's side every day, they only live a few streets away from us. They just moved so probably about 15 minutes away) I'm getting so carried away.

The pool opened recently I was the first in this year, though I only stayed in for 20 seconds, it was so freezing. My cousins, my sister, and I are having very good fun in the icy water this week. I'm so skinny that sometimes I only stay in for two minutes until I start shivering like mad..anyway that's all I had to write.

-Ashley or Lurell it doesn't matter what you call me (I'm such a random person)

I really like that poem you wrote, it was very good! It sounds like you have been very busy lately!
In responce to your comment you left on my blog; my summer break has gone very well, it's been a little different from previous summers, but it is still enjoyable.
God Bless,
Taylor

Dear Miss Lilly, (Hee hee. That party didn't go so well and my voice was awful!)

You definitely write a lot more than I do! As you already know I am not good at any sports. Your poem was good, although I would probably have to ask you what some parts represent.

I have almost the same problem with writing stories, too many ideas, only for me it's tooo many ideas, and too little writing talent.

Toodle Pip,
~ Miss Rose

You are a squirrel! Able to scale a tree in seconds, you are a deadly shot with your bow, and perhaps you are a warrior.
