New American Heritage Girls Troop Taking Shape in Knoxville!
Exciting
news! St. John Neumann Church in Farragut, TN has agreed to charter
Knoxville's first American Heritage Girls troop! The soon-to-be Troop
215 has been a work-in-progress for two years, and we are so excited in
Maryville's Troop 131 to have a sister troop in Knoxville finally. We
look forward to working together to bring more and more American Heritage Girls troops in East Tennessee.

Glad to see AHG in Tennessee
| My daughters are currently in the GSA in Stuttgart Germany. Because the local council is 95% US Military who have extreme Christian values, I have no problem with them in the troops here. Next year I am moving to the Knoxville area an am very happy to see an AHG troop. The AHG is representing what Lord Baden-Powell and Lady Baden-Powell had in mind when the World Scouting movement started. What now is going on in the GSA is NOT what Gordon Low was trying to encourage. When I see how the current leaders are supporting groups like, Planned Parenthood, I am happy to know my daughters have a decent alternative when I move to Tennessee. |
