A Life Better Than I Deserve

Smiles in the Morning!
This morning was one of those good mornings. You know the kind I mean. It seems that everyone was in a good mood. Miss Ladybugs and Butterflies was up early and came into my room with a big grin--dimples showing. She had had a lovely dream about Aslan. She was with Susan and Lucy when Aslan helped her protect them against the White Witch! The toddler, who is teething again, woke up in a good mood. Princess Buttercup, who is usually a slow starter, woke up happy and got dressed quickly before breakfast. The unpredictable teenager. Really, everyone woke up in a good mood.
Everyone was a little slow getting their morning chores done, but except for a certain eleven year old boy complaining about having to actually write a descriptive paragraph. He doesn't understand why he can't draw a picture or write a list of twenty words instead. Hmmm, is it really Chinese water torture to require a boy to write paragraphs? Must be. But once he wrote his paragraph, he settled down and did the rest of his schoolwork cheerfully.
I just love those mornings! I only wish they happened more often!
