Jun. 28, 2009 - I needed to update...
Wow, it's been awhile since I updated my blog. I guess I just haven't found the time. Well, a lot of stuff has happened since then.
I finished school for the summer!! And I'm loving it!! ^^
I also got Inkheart (The book) from Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago. I loved it. And I just saw the movie a few days ago... I loved that too. XD
Joshua bought me Inkspell for an early birthday present... I love that too. Except there are three guys with similar names, and I can't get 'em right. :P
Umm... And that's 'bout it.

Apr. 9, 2009 - Hmmmm.
I figured I should write an entry.
Well, I've been busy this week. Glad the week is finally winding down. Ummm, I got a new avatar! It is colorful, don'tcha think? :D
Easter is this Sunday! I didn't know until Monday. I was really surprised about it. I mean, it was in March last year. So it's kinda weird. I feel like posting about my favorite music groups. I really like SuperChick. They're a Christian Rock/Pop/Hip Hop group, and I got their latest album for Christmas last year. And we have the first one too. There was this one song I found a few days ago, and it was really surprised me. The group doesn't really do stuff like this. It was very surprising. I love the song, and it means so much to me. Here are the lyrics.
No one sits with him, he doesn't fit in
But we feel like we do when we make fun of him
'Cause you want to belong,do you go along?
'Cause his pain is the price paid for you to belong.
It's not like you hate him or want him to die,
But maybe he goes home and thinks suicide
Or he comes back to school with a gun at his side
Any kindness from you might have saved his life.
Heroes are made when you make a choice
You could be a hero - heroes do what's right
You could be a hero - you might save a life
You could be a hero - you could join the fight
For what's right, for what's right, for what's right
No one talks to her, she feels so alone.
She's in too much pain to survive on her own.
The hurt she can't handle overflows to a knife
She writes on her arm wants to give up her life.
Each day she goes on is a day that she's brave
Fighting the lie that giving up is the way
Each moment of courage her own life she saves
When she throws the pills out, a hero is made.
Heroes are made when you make a choice
You could be a hero - heroes do what's right
You could be a hero - you might save a life
You could be a hero - you could join the fight
For what's right, for what's right, for what's right
No one talks to him about how he lives
He thinks that the choices he makes are just his
Doesn't know he's a leader with the way he behaves
And others will follow the choices he's made.
He lives on the edge, he's old enough to decide.
His brother who wants to be him is just nine.
He can do what he wants because it's his right,
The choices he makes change a nine-year-old's life.
Heroes are made when you make a choice
You could be a hero - heroes do what's right
You could be a hero - you might save a life
You could be a hero - you could join the fight
For what's right, for what's right, for what's right
Little Mikey D. was the one in class
who every day got brutally harassed.
This went on for years until he decided
That ever again would he shed another tear
So he walked through the door,
Grabbed a forty four out of his father's dresser drawer,
And said I can't take life no more.
And like that, life can be lost
But this ain't even about that
All of us just sat back
And watched it happen
Thinking it's not our responsibility
To solve a problem that isn't about me
This IS our problem
This is just one of the daily scenarios
In which we chose to close our eyes,
Instead of doing the right thing.
If we make a choice
Be the voice
For those who won't speak up for themselves,
How many lives would be saved
Changed, rearranged?
Now it's our time
To pick a side.
Now don't keep walking by,
Not wanting to intervene,
'Cause you just want to exist;
And never be seen
So let's wake up
Change the world-
Our time is now!
You could be a hero
heroes do what's right
You could be a hero
you might save a life
You could be a hero
you could join the fight
For what's right, for what's right.
I was talking to my brother about it. He said that it was talking about High School in the 90's and early 2000's, how there were gangs (And there still are), people selling drugs, and stuff - how no one was doing anything about. No one was being sympathetic.
Now they're being too sympathetic.
I better close this entry before I start to rant.
Blessings,

Jan. 29, 2009 - Stardust
Well, last weekend, my two older brothers went to our cousins house for our cousin Micheal's Birthday, and they watched a movie called Stardust, which we watched yesterday after lunch (we got it from Netflix). It was a great movie. Mom's taking me out on Saturday, we're deciding whether or not to bring Christopher and Daniel with us. I wanna see if I can make two new Birth Certificates for my Build-A-Bear's that didn't come with them (Nikki and Sparkles). We might go to the Craft Store, and go out to lunch, or something. I'm looking out the window, and we have two police officers, two firemen, with their firetruck out behind our cars. Cause these guys are putting in new pipes, so we'll have to pay for our own water... yeah. Well, I made some Fudge about half an hour ago, it's in the refridgerator chilling. I really like to bake, I think I might ask my mom to bake some more treats with me. Well, bye!
