Our strawberry crop just escalated the last couple days. The grandsons were told to pick one day and they filled a huge bowl and did not even finish. So yesterday I thought I would go out and finish up what they left behind. Woe is my back bending over that long. I kept moving leaves and finding more and more of those sweet red things. I filled the same bowl they had the previous day and then had to get another bowl even larger to finish up. So............

Yesterday we had goat yogurt with some strawberries, and the day before  that we had a smoothie in the morning with them.  Today we had strawberry muffins, strawberry lemonade, and then I made a pie with some of the strawberries and also added storebought blueberries and raspberries. There is still a  couple pints at least left for more recipes tomorrow unless we decide to freeze them. I think we are getting to the end of the harvest though. Blessings.
