Tackle it Tuesday - the bathroom remodel...

Well, Dan and J13 spent last week working on this. While I have become quite the expert in putting tile in as Dan's assistant and doing the whole washroom myself I was not needed on this venture. I sat this one out for the sake of education. J13 learned how to do the work and did a beautiful job. I just held the camera this time around. Here is what THEY did...
This is the before once the toilet was pulled out. The toilet was a "lovely" 1970's yellow. You can see more pics at my Flickr - link is in the sidebar...

Starting the first wall... The tile to the left is going away, too... WOOHOO!!!
Ain't it grand??? Now, if the children will just keep it CLEAN!!!
I was the first to try out the new throne -
seeing as how the queen has had to share her's
for the past 6 months with her man and
four little mess makers - it was fitting!!! ROFLOL

That is SOOO totally cool. I wish I had the gumption to try that, but if a toilet broke I would probably be pushed to it. :D GOOD JOB!!

How great that your 13 year old got in on the work. I have a 13 yr old son too. They want so badly to be men yet they are still childlike in many ways. My husband has our son involved in all sorts of "guy" stuff around here.

Looks great! We'll be doing tiling in the basement in the future . . . hubby will take over that one. I don't have the hand-eye coordination for it. Everyone at your place did a great job. I had to chuckle about the hope that everyone will keep it clean.
