...be very very quiet... or you will wake the kiddos. I just got them all down to bed and it is mighty quiet around here. I am up making yogurt and I just finished 5 loaves of bread baking. It has been a long day...Oh, I wanta share with you all so badly but I promised I would not until the ball is rolling (no, I am NOT pregnant).
This has been a weird week, for sure. Our oldest is off on a field trip to the state capital and will be home tomorrow night. The man is off with the Scouts just a few miles from the house but will be in a tent for the night. His 42nd birthday is Sunday. My Daddy has a birthday tomorrow and will be 70. I love my Daddy!!! I love my hubby, too!!!

I won't be leaving the kitchen, much less the house tomorrow. I am glad for the time I had out this week some with friends and some schooling. Thursday was all about the Women's Missions meeting. My MIL left town so I was in charge and we had a wonderful time of prayer together. We also had some scrumptious treats together - mostly the kids ate but I had a bit of muffin and some salad.
I got a great deal accomplished in the way of prepping for my final for next week in my "cold kitchen" class. Today was another fun time out with my Garden Club ladies. They are a great bunch of ladies - full of information and tons of fun!!! We had Japanese Tempura at one of the ladies homes. Wanta see what we shared?

For the record, I never touched that fork - I used the chopsticks for the ENTIRE meal and did not drop a thing... LOL
I also got a new vinca vine and some mint from one of the ladies to plant and some radishes for our table (I may be using a few for my presentation next week, too). I made a run to the grocery store for a few things for cake making and terrine and cheese making for the weekend. I will be busy tomorrow all day between cooking, baking and watering the garden... I love my life!!!
