Good day to you all!!!
I pray your Mother's Day was as lovely as mine...
Dan and the two oldest made me a lovely egg and sausage casserole for breakfast with juice and coffee and we cut up some of my bagels that I made Saturday to go with it. We had lunch at my MIL's and the MEN cooked and cleaned up while all the ladies sat and visited (and chased kids). We had grilled chicken with lots of sides (the sides were brought by the ladies at the request of Grandma) I took a spinach, walnut and strawberry salad with a poppy seed dressing. It was a nice day...
In the way of gifts I got a pressure cooker, some new cookbooks and a gnocchi board (you can see more at my food blog on those items...)
My allergies are getting the best of me and we do have a busy afternoon so this is the last I will be on today. I wanted to let you guys know it is NATIONAL WEAR AN APRON DAY!!! I got this cute little button over at NotQuiteJuneCleaver's blog. Have a lovely one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
