Good Grief!!!

Posted in Family Life

Is it already Wednesday NIGHT???  My life has been in overdrive since Dan walked in the door on Saturday night.  I have my midterm projects due this week and turned one in Tuesday and the other is due tomorrow.  I am almost done.  In the midst of that the local Cub Scouts are having day camp this week so the fam is out the door early every day for a day in the hot HOT sun.  The temps have been in the 100's all week and it was 106 yesterday!  I went to the camp with them this morning to take pictures for the slide show JoNathan is going to be putting together for the back to school bash.  I will be spending my evening cooking dinner, watering the garden and working on the finishing touches of my project.  People that say they are bored or have nothing to do boggle my mind!  I don't have ANY boring moments in my days - EVER.

The project, for those interested, is a business plan for a business of my choice.  I have chosen to open a fictional bed and breakfast.  It has been so much fun working on this but it is very time consuming.  I have the first half due tomorrow and then the final draft is due as my final for the semester.  I am hoping to get it done and turned in early so I won't have to go the last week of school.  I am so tired and ready for camps to be over and swim team to be over so we can just have some of those "lazy days of summer" that I hear people talk about.  I have not had a lazy day in months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am certainly due one...

I will share more later in the week and maybe have some links and pictures for you guys.  Have a good one.

I love the lazy days of summer but just not the humidity levels :-)

Oh wow, a bed and breakfast! That would take a lot of work. Do you think you'd really like to run one?

Bed and breakfasts are lots of work but I think I would really love the work. The more I learn about it the more I think, "I can do that!" :)

Welcome to my home on the web! I am a 40 year old SAHM (14 years), homeschooling mom (8 years) and pastor's wife (18 years) who is embarking on becoming a chef/pastry chef, and starting a small business while my husband is teaching school, pastoring and working on his doctorate in ministry. We are busy, busy, busy... but I still make time to share all of that and more here. Thanks for stopping by and please come again... :)
