My brain hurts!!! My eyes hurt... My fingers hurt... Everything hurts from sitting in front of this computer screen all week. I worked all afternoon on more project stuff. Part of what I am dong is costing out recipes that I would use in my imaginary Bed and Breakfast. Another thing I am doing is writing extensive job descriptions of all the positions I would have for said B&B. It is very time consuming. The rest of the evening will be spent crunching numbers and pricing menu items. The rough draft is due tomorrow but I want to have it so there are very few changes I need to make before turning the final in. I am very close!Once that is over I am scheduled to cater a dinner for Dan and the board members of a local camp facility. Dan is the president and has asked his FAVORITE chef to put this together. LOL I have some serious planning and shopping to do and lots of prepwork. All of this has to be done after tomorrow's class, though.
The kids are so excited about camping that is all they talk about. J(13) has been online trying to build a backpacker's stove. He started with some little soda cans and has done amazing things with that. He is SO destined to be a music playing praise and worship leader engineer someday. The boy is gifted!!! I know I am his mom... you expect that from me but if you met him you would say the same thing. He did NOT get the engineering and math part from me and not all the music either. ;) God expects great things from this boy!
Potty training is going well with very few accidents. J(3) is figuring it all out very well.
The middle children are even keel and are pushing me to hurry so we can eat sandwiches and watch a movie. I am going to crunch numbers in front of a movie with them because they want me in the room. I know they are feeling like I am isolating myself a lot this week but it is all for school and then I am all their's next week. I sure love my family and the way they encourage me in this thing called culinary school. We are going to really enjoy that three weeks before school starts again.
Gotta run! Have a good one...
