One of my favorite preachers died today...
D. James Kennedy passed away this morning from complications of a heart attack. Here is a link for anyone interested. I am sad...

I couldn't believe it when I ran across your website. I was shocked. I really like Dr. James Kennedy. I just bought his book about how the gospel is in the stars. I can't wait to get the book. My children are studying astrology this year. The study will show God's fingerprint on everything he made, and they will look at the silly stories that are not acceptable to God (the gods and godesses of the Greek stories). It will be neat to see how they will use this to share the story with those who don't know the Lord. It will be a great instrument for God to use. I am very excited. However, I have Mr. Kennedy to thank for his research in time in sharing all of this. Oh, I look forward to meeing him in heaven some day. It is a sad day for me and others who will miss him on earth, but I don't think he will miss earth. From Earthquake Kelly's descriptive book about his dying and going to heaven, Mr. Kennedy is enjoying the presence of the Lord and not missing life on earth one bit (except for his loved ones that he might miss).
Father, please give his daughter and wife a hug. Comfort them during this time. Please help them through their sadness of missing Mr. Kennedy. In Jesus name.

That is so sad. I hate it when the world loses such strong leaders for the Kingdom of God, but I trust that the Lord is raising up more who will continue the mission.
